I am negative about Boots because of the way the staff treat me when I am in buying "bargains". They even confiscated some of my online orders even though they were paid for and had been through the necessary checks with Boots.com before they were despatched. The staff in my local store seem to think that they have the authority to override Boots.com. They have no right to open online orders but they open all of mine. I just collect them from a different store now.
They question everything I buy and which shelf I got it from - they don't treat my colleagues like that who go in and buy the same items as me. They have taken a dislike to me so I deliberately still shop there because I know they hate serving me if I have discovered a bargain. I wouldn't do myself out of a bargain just because of the staff's attitude.0 -

Some people prefer the mini sizes for making up gifts or travelling; so if that's what you're after, or you'd like to try the products in the free gift, it is still a good deal. Thank you OP for posting the offer.0

Instead of buying expensive travel sizes, buy full size items and decant into small plastic bottles - very cheap, and most chemists have them (ditto Poundshops etc). Superdrug does a nice little set for £3.99 (post free if you have a Beautycard, or collect in store): http://www.superdrug.com/Superdrug/Superdrug-Travel-Bottle-Set/p/419350#.VRWOZ2ZxWJ0
Perfect if you are travelling, or use as part of the gift so the recipient has something they can re-use (just remember to tell them what you've given them by way of what the bottle contains!).0 -
Travel sizes are a con through and through.
They are way more expensive because you're paying for the smaller pieces of plastic that probably don't get recycled, and certainly not very environmentally friendly.
As others have said, there is very little point in this "deal" - you pay as well buy the free gift (assuming you can) rather than buy plastic for recycling.0 -

The free gift is available to buy on its own for £12.50.
I bought 6 x salt scrub and got the free gift for a total of £7. Total value £23. I would never pay full price for Sanctuary Spa stuff because it is overpriced for what it is however, 9 items for £7 is good value in my opinion.0 -

I might do this for myself but would never give a gift like this, wouldn't feel right!anotheruser wrote: »Travel sizes are a con through and through.

But you can get the free gift plus extra items for less than the cost of the free gift alone, hence why it's a deal!0 -
Ordered a gift and 3 salt scrub sachets totalling £11.50. Great to have the free gift!0
