However, the mini's are a false economy, as you pay more for less product, even with 3-4-2, than the full size items.

Eg a 50ml body wash is £2.50 but a 250ml one is only £5.50 - so that's 5 times more product for just over twice the price.

Think I get it now, you have to spend £10 before the offer discount kicks in; ie if you buy x4 of the £2.50 items from the 3for2 offer (see Rainbow Drop's link above) , you only pay £7.50 because of the 3 for 2 offer, but the system thinks you have spend £10 and adds the gift as well, so 4 minis plus the gift for £7.50.

Your OP is quite negative about Boots and it's staff. If I felt that way about a retailer I simply wouldn't shop there.
