Being honest isn't name calling and your friend hasn't had anything to add to this thread other than silly remarks which she can't backup. As for saying you aren't a scrounger well you've come to expect millions of people to be forced into paying for what you just happen to enjoy watching on television  which makes you a scrounger in my book

Does that make anyone who uses the NHS or the services of the Police scroungers, too?

Millions of people are forced to pay for that when I just happen to get ill or get burgled......

    can't stand eastenders.......

I was merely applying the principle you used to call me a scrounger to other instances where people are 'forced' to pay for something they may never use e.g. NHS or police

    no mix up there....

No and your not doing yourself any favours in trying to defend the BBC by comparing it to vital public services because believe it or not your viewing habbits are not a public service & people couldn't careless

to repeat : I was not comparing the BBC to vital public services, I was merely applying the principle you used to call me a scrounger to other instances where people are 'forced' to pay for something they may never use e.g. NHS or police
