Well done SFSB on the weight loss again this week ..total 1 stone :T
  • Just a big thank you for all your help and advice. I have just found out that we have to write a letter to the insurance company informing them of the accident, stating that a claim is not being made. This is as much as anything to prevent them putting in a counter claim to her. Seeing as we have done everything legal so far I will get her to write the letter this evening. Hopefully come next year when she has to renew her insurance it won't have too much of an adverse effect on her policy.

Tibby has been starved & dropped off at vets :T

Fourp is still here as Mrs Fourp is getting better attention at Ystrad Mynach & it seems to be a positive move for the better :)

She is having 2 days of assessment.

We went to local schools charity Bingo last night & caller called 55 & then announced his birthday & we all sang Happy Birthday :D:D

He enjoyed him self - especially when he only had the number 5 to go for a full house (significant being the 5th for birthday & 55 years ;) )
    And he won :j:j:T:T

Sounds like you both had a good night and the cake stayed on the

    Hi Evangeline.

Just tried this but the Eye Make-Up Remover is not in the offer and the three items scanned at £10.26.

I asked the cashier to check that they were in the 3 for £5 offer before she started just so she could void them if they weren't. Unfortunately after they scanned at full price she felt obliged to call a soopy over who checked the sels, confirmed that the make-up remover was an ood sel and instructed the sa to override the items at 2 for £2 each and 1 for £1.

So in the end, they thought they were doing a wonderful job in giving a customer a good deal and I feel like a total noobie for letting them do it and ruin my apg.:o:rotfl:

Well done on reaching your first stone :T

I changed my address online with Onecall. No mention of a charge and then a few days later got a payment overdue for £55. They are now going to cancel my policy if I don't pay it. I'm trying to get a new policy rather than pay them anything.

Make sure you speak to them, as if they do cancel your policy, then you will have to declare that when taking out ANY (not just car) insurance policy. Whilst £55 seems a lot, it may be cheaper, and easier, in the long run to suck it up.

    Morning All,

Just catching up. Thanks for this advice Lawrie. Might have to just pay it. I'm just getting fed up with forking out all the time, I'm beginning to think moving house is the worst financial mistake of my life.

Keep her name on file, she's a rarity!

We had a company move a little while ago, we had to do the normal handholding with the company, get them to tell BT they were moving, when and where to etc. BT got their phone lines in on time but different people install different parts of orders, they had to wait a FORTNIGHT after their moving date to get their broadband!!!! THEY ARE AN ONLINE COMPANY!! And we had told BT about this!!! They provided dongles when we put them under pressure, but the company were out in the middle of nowhere and we had to go to ridiculous lengths to get the dongles to connect :mad:
It is ridiculous. Was just telling a colleague about it and I'm now a happy bunny and did a little dance that it's all working  he he
