Good morning everyone :hello:
What do we think about potentially cheap porridge?
Should be 51.8p a box for quaker porridge sachets.
untested so buy at own risk - your in-store apg won't be available until after the mid-day update if that matters, if still missing from msm at 1pm-ish then should be good for the rest of the day.
£2.58 v £1.22 (at T), however you should pay 2 for £4 in-store
Mix and match - QUAKER - 2 FOR £4
Buy in 2's, pay £4 get £2.964 back = 2 boxes for £1.036
These varieties are on offer for £1.22 at T
Quaker Oat So Simple Original (12 per pack - 324g)
Quaker Oat So Simple Variety (9 per pack - 297g)
Quaker Oat So Simple Golden Syrup (10 per pack - 360g)
Quaker Oat So Simple Apple & Blueberry (10 per pack - 360g)
Quaker Oat So Simple Sweet Cinnamon (10 per pack - 330g)
Quaker Oat So Simple Honey & Almond (10 per pack - 330g)
Quaker Oat So Simple Apple, Sultana, Raisin & Cranberry (10 per pack - 385g)
Quaker Oat So Simple Strawberry, Raspberry & Cranberry (10 per pack - 339g)
This one is £1.29 at T so would be post-apg 58.1p/box (when bought in 2s)
Quaker Oat So Simple Strawberry Jam (10 per pack - 332g)
edits: for me really for future reference
edit: not on msm at 12:02pm
edit: not on msm at 12:40pm, individual product has 2 for £4 on A
edit: 2 for £4 showing on A's multi for each product - 12:52
edit: not on msm at 12:53
Went on late so should work all day :TShortfatscotsbloke wrote: »Hi Evangeline.
Just tried this but the Eye Make-Up Remover is not in the offer and the three items scanned at £10.26.
I asked the cashier to check that they were in the 3 for £5 offer before she started just so she could void them if they weren't. Unfortunately after they scanned at full price she felt obliged to call a soopy over who checked the sels, confirmed that the make-up remover was an ood sel and instructed the sa to override the items at 2 for £2 each and 1 for £1.
So in the end, they thought they were doing a wonderful job in giving a customer a good deal and I feel like a total noobie for letting them do it and ruin my apg.:o:rotfl:
Thats really strange because it only went in the offer in the last 2-3 days, possibly only today http://groceries.asda.com/asda-webstore/landing/home.shtml#/product/910001623465
Anything showing in an offer on A5da.com normally scans through in the offer  I don't really understand what's happened but sorry you lost out0 -

we have been struggling lately.
I know he won't manage 6 weeks and I know I'll probably be picking him up by the weekend and bringing him back here for me to cope with
I feel guilty. I felt absolute relief at making him someone else problem todayI know that sounds terrible
but I did
It is hard -you feel guilty and think 'but I could have managed' but all I will say to you who will look after you if you are poorly? you need a respite from your OH and to be able to give some quality time to your other members of your family but more importantly you need you time. x0 -

google
a lb of fat contains approx 3500 kcal (it varies from person to person though)
nutrition from msm :money: 190g pringles tube at 522kcal per 100g = 991.8kcal
yahoo answers had this 1 Cucumber, unpeeled, raw, 8 1/4″, approx. 280g – 34 calories
edit: then I did some maths :rotfl:
(3500*14)/991.8 = 49.4 pringle tubes
(3500*14)/34 = 1441 cucumbers#CHEEKY :cool:0 -
