It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.
The world is full of people throwing stones at us. Its what you do with them that counts. Build a wall or build a bridge.

He teaches (college). Only person I know with a PhD. This is why it's a bit strange. I think they have a plan of action today.

When we do speak I have a list of useful suggestions from you lot :)

Hi Emma. I'm sure he would know this already but just incase.. Local council education dept have a supply list. When schools are struggling for staff due to illness etc they turn to the list for cover. The people on the list have already been vetted through interview with the council etc. I wonder if further education is the same? this could be an avenue to help search other employment.
When I was on the supply list I visited all the schools in my area with a leaflet saying my name, qualifications and experience on. It's amazing how effective this was in me finding regular work.

I understand higher education may be different but worth mentioning if it helps:)

    Good afternoon

Hope everyone is ok today. Been raining here

    We're cutting:eek: and sticking and I've still got 8 fingers and 2 thumbs:j

Am I the only one that buys smartprice oats? :D

75p for 1KG minus 10% from the APG.

    They're just oats, lovely oats.

I always have them in for cooking, they make lovely flapjacks and are a wonderful addition to a crunchy fish pies topping :D

  • Hi Everybody

I done a Persil shop and was also charged the full price so said I did not want them. There was a manager there at the time and he said he was sorry about the mix up with price.

I think he thought the price was £3.50 on line and apologised that the price had gone put to £6.85.

He then said that they had a lot of problems with prices not matching .com and that Asda were looking into changing the system so the price you see on .com will be the price you actually pay, even if it is different in the shop.
