If you ring the insurance company (regardless of outcome) it will be recorded and may well increase her premium.
That's what I thought so we haven't rang them... I have been given advice on what happens from an insurance company.
They said she had 3 choices.
Try and speak to them direct( didn't work)
Claim send run the risks if them denying
    Or pay ourselves.:(

it was the police that said he could say she left without giving her details.

This is what I find odd. Do they know the van has been caught on CCTV camera and have they even viewed the footage?

From my understanding he has committed 2 offences 1) leaving the schene of an accident 2) Refusing to give insurance details (as he left the schene of the accident without giving the details to the other driver).

If there is only one way out of the street surely the CCTV camera would have to show your DD driving past before the other driver. If it shows her driving past after the other driver, there is no way the other driver can claim your DD drove off first.

  • Sorry I don't have time to fully explain but all these items are now in 2 for £3 offer in A5da. The multi has not updated so should remain unseen all day if using my past studies of the MSM update routine as a guide. Even if the multi shows on msm at midday it should still remain unseen all day

Copied from my emailed list thats why it looks funny :D 1 x McCain Mexican Wedges (750g) £2.00 per unit, these are only £1 in T and M so pay £3 and get APG for £2.20. Thats the best deal but the others do give a bit back so worth stocking up if its something you buy anyway :p
  • I wonder if I could get some information from a sales assistant's perspective.
My nephew works in a furniture shop. The sales receipts are handwritten and he wrote the total balance of a receipt out incorrectly (he did put the correct amount in to begin with less a deposit but the final balance was incorrect).
Am I right in thinking that when a customer agrees to pay the full amount a contract is entered into and the original price should be paid?
The boss of the shop made my newphew pay the difference (is that legal?) and now my nephew is out of pocket by £100.
Can someone give me some advice on this please as to where he stands?

    Thanks

Well him leaving the scene is with the police, report filled in. CCTV wouldn't show her leaving until at least 30 mins later when her bf drove her to work.
He told his boss he tried to find her after she had driven off.
May get some further advice as we were told that it was our decision if we went through the insurance company and it only had to be passed to police coz of it being illegal to leave scene of an accident without giving details:(
