Good afternoon,
Didn't have one minute to be on here yesterday, or the evening before, just catching up on today posts only....
Hey QRB.... we might have to fight over our Udi stock as my Mum likes them too and asked me just now if I had any more..... Luckily I have from my sunday collection. I told her they were 50p a box........
But then I said I would let her have them for nothing. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Popped into A's this morning.... same usual SA at CS, rather troutish looking if you ask me. She stood there doing nothing at 8.30am, so I thought i'd take a couple of boxes of persil 20's to her to price check. She rolled her eyes and said isn't on the edge of the shelf. Like it's effort to check! They're still not reduced, but to shut her up from moaning I just said that a friend in the midlands had them RTC in their store and I was hoping ours would too. I said never mind, i'll keep checking just to make sure. That'll make her day every morning. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Ok, back to catching up for me.0 -

Had a lovely morning planned today .....but I'm having a pj day instead. Littleman woke screaming in the night, I went in to see if he was ok and I think I've trapped a nerve in my spine so I'm now hobbling like my 87 year old nan:(
Mr monkey had to do the school run... Breakfast get them ready... he said its more stressful than a day in the office:rotfl:
I'm going to have a rummage to see if I can find that heat gel that was on offer in t... A while ago, I know I bought some:)
Then I will have a catch up:)
Hiya Mt2m hope your ok. Do you think you may be better with ice than heat ? xxCherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

Evangeline1971 wrote: »Thanks again everyone who wished me well for my interview
Can I ask a question please? I’m unsure about how to reply when they ask why I want to leave my current job. I spoke about this with OH and he said to talk about wanting new challenges, however the more I think about this, the more I think it’s the wrong thing to say :undecided I don’t want challenges, so if I say I want them and there aren't any then they may not give me the job for that reason, and if there are no challenges it will be perfect for me.
In my current job I feel like my boss doesn’t want me there. She wants to do all the work herself and almost every day there’s not enough work for me but if I look at my phone she gets annoyed so I try to stretch out work and sometimes look at junk emails because I’m so bored. I think it was her husband’s idea to take on another person because he doesn't like her spending so much time at work, however she doesn't want this. There’s loads of other stuff I could do that she moans she still has to do, such as bank reconcilations, which I’ve done before in other jobs but she won’t let me touch them
So my question is is it ok to say some of the above if asked why I want to leave? Obviously not go into all the detail but can I say I want to feel as if I’m needed and that I have a job to do and in my current job I don’t feel as though there is a job there for me and that there’s not enough work to keep me busy. I’ve tried creating spreadsheets but been told not to do that. Much of the time I’m bored. Is it ok to say this at my interview? TIA
It sounds like you feel under appreciated in your current role and don't feel like you're being used to the best of your ability especially as ideas to improve their business are not given the consideration they deserve.
From what you've posted previously that sounds right to me? hope that's helpful!
oh, you might want to add that there's no opportunity for career progression as working for a husband and wife team.
Again, good luck!
edit: avoid sounding too negative about current employer, I would mention the spreadsheets if the job your applying for is a good fit

Does he know mummy is deaf:D:D:D
Yes
Mummy is profoundly deaf, daddy has severe hearing loss and little one has perfect hearing :rotfl:I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. I've had a little look on Twitter and Off the Streets doesn't seem to have been in the top 5 for the charity fund as they haven't been contacted by Galaxy. It's a great shame but thank you to everyone who voted and tried to make it happen xDebt free 6th December 2014

Ordering 6 electric toothbrushes that you know are out of stock to get a £100 APG?
Hmm. Pushing it to the limit, literally.
The APG game is already rigged in our favour, it's a game you can't lose but it seems to me greater respect for the game is needed.
Udi's = £2.05 return per item
JF Oils = different type of glitch (trigger), returns £15-£20 on a £10 spend, can only be done once per shop.
Electric Toothbrushes = £19+ return per item.
I conceed that ordering 10 Udi's that you know are OOS is the same as ordering ONE toothbrush that is OOS. Six is taking the !!!! though :rotfl:Bitcoin. If you haven't heard of it, you have now.0 -

Yes the limit is £100 per calendar month.
How many people have done 3 to 4 shops in a month to get the Udi's, I have seen the same members posting the same shop time and time again.I conceed that ordering 10 Udi's that you know are OOS is the same as ordering ONE toothbrush that is OOS. Six is taking the !!!! though
Ordering more than 10 Udi's and 6 of the toothbrushes in the end gives the same value. Its just a little quicker to get to that limit.0 -
