Me too Queen of Cheap. I'm off to see my accountant today.
I know many advise against doing your own books, but I think I am going to see how it's done at least for the first year or so before I decide if I can tackle it myself.
Someone said to me a good accountant pays for themselves in the money they save you so lets see if that's true.
Also... Persil... Could someone explain?0 -

Wow 10 years, we've got a few more years to go till we get to there.
I was already fat on my wedding day (the photos still make me cringe!) so I think I'll always be able to fit in mine :rotfl:
I found a bridesmaid dress from my sisters wedding (she bought me 2 and this is the one I never wore) which DD is apparently swiping for her school prom (in a few years)
I told her we'll get someone to tweak it and she can wear it, very mse of her :money: :jHistoric Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!

I went to the shop with an idea and a mobile phone. I had no time to make a plan and when I got to the store I realised that I had deleted the emails with lists from yesterday as I was so sure the glitch had finished.:o
Anyway, I bought all Special K and I think I got all the ones on your list.
Wouldn't it be ironic after what I said yesterday morning if the only person in the whole of England, Scotland and Wales to have to pay full price for the bars was me..:rotfl:0 -

I'm just playing about with some leaflet design. Once I've done that and bought the software and hardware I need, I'm already in the red  not by much but it's not a good way to start off:o
I did a loan to the company of £500 to set up, and when I could I repaid this to myself. I used my old computers/printers etc until I could afford to purchase these for the company.
Make sure you get a good accountant... whilst I do my books he knows the taxation system inside and out and keeps me on the straight and narrow! Although at times he struggles with my views that I do not want to avoid paying tax!100 -

I do my own accounts..however I do have an accountant he helped me to do the basic start up with template spread sheets etc and it does get easier and clearer the more you do. I've learnt that if I spend 5/10 minutes daily doing the books, receipts in out etc then it's easier if something doesn't balance. I made the mistake over Christmas not doing this and it's taken me a while to get back into it...won't do that again:)0 -

I tried all sorts of humane methods of catching it, as well as various baits/poisons, and none did the job.
I didn't try traps as I don't have the stomach to remove the remains. With the electrical one you can simply tip the contents into the bin without having to touch anything.
Thank you so much springdreams, will look for one in ebay.0
