last year we had a pigeon actually came in the window and sitting on the sofa:p it was a racing pigeon, came of the irish sea and resting here, it was still here a few days later and kept coming in the house so oh and ds2 took it to the barn 2 miles away and let it loose in the hope it would fly home, it did back to ours:rotfl: and got there before them, so ds2 has adopted it and put a box up for shelter after contacting the owner and them just saying ignore it and it will go. yesterday i discovered he has chicks with the white dove ds3 let loose to keep it company:p the boys had not told me

oh how lovely! my nan feeds blackbirds in her garden and one morning she hadn't yet put the food out and one of the birds walked into her kitchen and into their living room as if to say "come on woman, get the dried fruit out already!" lol!

Ooooh I need to check on this persil glitch. Do I need to check the price instore first? my nearest store is 5 miles away and I don't drive :(

    Hello lovely elite,

    I need a help please.
There is a mouse in my utility room, not sure where it came from, but it is driving me mad for the past 1 week. I have tried the sound device , but no use. It keeps running under the washing machine all the time. My 4 year old daughter thinks it is rude to drive him out, and keeps asking if we can have mickey as a pet.:o

Has anyone tried the cotton balls with peppermint oil or the mint leaves ? Does it really work ?

I also had a mouse in my house, and the only thing that worked was an electrical mouse catcher that I bought off of fleabay (was just under £20).

I tried all sorts of humane methods of catching it, as well as various baits/poisons, and none did the job.

I didn't try traps as I don't have the stomach to remove the remains. With the electrical one you can simply tip the contents into the bin without having to touch anything.

Asked about the big chopper while I was collecting my Priority moment but was told none in stock. :(

Trouble is Poole has 2 stores so not sure which one had stock when WMCB posted other day.

Ideally you should check in store first, but that doesn't always work.

I tried a different store for my CC this weekend (the CC for my usual store comes from a hub 40+ miles away) as the persil and frijj were reduced in there, but on my delivery they both came up at full price so I rejected them and asked why I wasn't being charged the in store price. The SA said the CC comes from another store 2 miles away ... I will go there next time for higher priced items like the persil.

However, the SA at my usual A said that the CC items will be picked from the store come February and no longer come from the hub :D

Yes, she never thanks anyone, and its so obvious most of her finds are just stolen from other sites, although she has had a few now that people on her site have sent her, but usually carp. That why I never credit her when/if I bring something across. Plus she is so rude, I tried once to explain an easy glitch to some of her reader, that much have had the mental ability of a 3 year old (because I am not much better and I understood it) and she has banned me from her site :rotfl:

:rotfl::rotfl:I just snorted reading that  glad I only have cats for company
