I used to do those Burger and Chicken jobs a few years ago for Gap as they were handy for a free lunch. I too remember putting in a couple of negative reports and then all hell breaking loose with lame excuses about inaccurate timings (how often has their receipts got the correct time on!).
I don't do them anymore, but I had to laugh when I went into one of the burger joints the other day and asked for a receipt, and then had them round me like flies cleaning my table and asking if everything was okay with my food!:rotfl:
The way around the floor show by asking for a receipt during the assignment that leads to distorted report findings is to finish the assignment, leave the shop for a few seconds, and then go back inside on the pretext that you forgot to ask for a receipt. It won't take long for them to fish it out of the bin or the till.0 -

I'm not a member of the m afia, with some long standing grudge and quest for revenge, so there is no 'vendetta'.
I am just pointing out the same observations that others on here have often pointed out before. I would do a bit of research on previous posts longstanding before chucking accusations around.0 -

There's that aggression. A trait of every post.

other day
ordered a meal and asked for a receipt. staff member clicked and asked manager are we expecting a mystery shopper, manager said no not today, oh thats ok then then and I proceeded to wait 5 mins for my order to be handed to me as they went back to slow mo mode..
wasnt a gap visit but it shows they do indeed know when they are due in..0 -
It was always a laugh asking for a VAT receipt for one pint of lager paid for in cash. Dead giveaway.0

No there isn't. I just don't like being ripped off. A trait of all of your posts is to not read properly or convey the facts. How did you make it as a mystery shopper?0 -
With the burgers, I don't think the hassle is coming from the MSC. The store managres bonus's are tied to the MS reports, so it is very much in their interest to challenge anything sub par. (unless things have changed).
A query I got on one this week led me to a truism of MSing - no-one is ever fat in this line of work. Even if you look like you ate there everyday and thrice on Sundays the description would still be 'medium build'.0 -
you're not allowed to comment on their build or ethnicity. Sometimes it would make life much easier if you could.
If you said they were well built wouldn't there be melt down0 -
