Has anyone used the ESA app? I was told to use it for a visit and found it didn't save what I had done, but have now been told it is in constant use by other shoppers so it must be my fault. Just wondered if anyone else had used it at all and had problems.

I used to work in IT training and support, so don't usually struggle with new technology!

You need quite a lot of spare memory in your phone for it to work. I never worked in my Galaxy S3 mini but is fine in my Xperia Z3. And they never listen when you say it doesn't work. The software is flawed.
  • ESA app - my iphone experience - save regularly by going out and back into the job as I find it often crashes so you have to re-open it and then you have to retype/select everything. I thought it had lost the photos I'd taken at first but they were in usual 'photos' bit of iphone so I was able to re-attach them to the questionnairre rather than having to re-shoot them.
  • While reading through the USA mystery shopping forums I came across a thread regarding schedulers pestering shoppers regarding a certain pizza company and this post made me chuckle.

Or my other favorite - please help us, we have updated the Requirements which are now easier. Say yes and it's super easy.

I once said yes and the easier requirements were 23 pages long with specific cutting and picture requirements.

The kicker..... My pictures were not acceptable since they were as close to 90 degrees as they could be without actually being 90 Deg. I guess 89 degrees wasn't close enough so they magically couldn't pay me OR reimburse for my product purchase. But had the nerve to ask if I would do it again for and extra $5.

Thank goodness they stopped calling after I asked for no call backs unless the bonus was more than $50.

The issues exist across the pond too.

I've said it before, that pizza client is a PITA, they were with FF and now with Bare. Those poor allocators have to hawk those jobs around for poor pay and the real danger of no reimbursement too.

    Dear Market Farce

Please stop sending me surveys to fill in on behalf of your clients, which you request that I fill in, on the off chance of being selected for the prize of an Amazon Voucher. Please get 'real' and pay for the surveys as I am sure you are paid by the end client, like reputable survey companys do...

    End of rant.

Competition entries in lieu of real cash payments are soooo insulting to our intelligence. What do they think we pay our bills with - fresh air?

Deal: you actually do the work for us, no two ways about that. Your reward? You may get paid, or you might not. It depends on how lucky you are.

    Yeah, right! :o

Just heard that both E and J are leaving AA. I knew E was leaving, but not J. Seems there might be some broom sweeping going on there.

My guess is that some clients have fed back to them, after months of neglect, and are probably not all that happy with the way the company runs their account or some other rumblings have upset the applecart one way or another. Why would both leave at the same time?

    Anyone more enlightened?

    never had one rejected,
certainly had ones not paid for...
  • Well surprise-surprise, I had a horrible experience at the burger place, so I had to give a poor rating and guess what, Gapbuster decided to refuse payment for it, because I entered the location less than 15 mins before the deadline.
Well that is interesting, because earlier the same week I entered one location at 18:56 and the other at 18:58 and those assignments have not been rejected, I wonder why.
Obviously complaining to them directly have not achieved anything, so I would like some advice on how I can take this matter further? I have written to MSPA just now, who else can I contact and what would happen if I were to go to the client directly and tell them how negative reports get hidden from them?

I would appreciate any advice, thank you very much in advance.
Why can't you be a non-conformist like everybody else?
