Re MF, mine also went in on the 27th Feb despite the possible delay email.

Can only assume they have had an issue with a particular bank.

A BACS payment should go to any UK bank account at the same time. It's in the name. Any problems are more likely with any individual job being authorised for payment or the details they have/provided to the MScompany.

Gap seems to pay on Wednesdays. I'd expect the money to hit the account later today. It seems that these days, they pay on the first Wednesday after 25th - and since 25th was a Wednesday last week, we have to wait until today. Whoever got paid yesterday was very lucky.

I don't know if it's the projects I generally work on, or if customer service in this country is generally pretty good, or if maybe I just bring out the best in people. :D

I've been shopping part and full time on and off for about 10 years. I've just written a report up for a shop that was, genuinely, unquestionably, bad, not a couple of things wrong in a generally 'ok' shop, genuinely bad from start to end to the extent that I really had to think to pull out a positive.

And that got me thinking how many times I've had to do that, and I think I've got enough fingers to count the bad ones.

So just a quiet :T to the staff on all the other visits.
Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?
Get jobs in offices and wake up for the morning commute?

I'll tell you what has been the source of some negative reports from me lately. I've done a few grocery online orders and collections. Each and every one failed to bring all the bags round from the back - so would have let me drive off without all my stuff if I hadn't noticed. Luckily the bags missed contained bulky items so it was obvious at once (to me) that I didn't have everything.

I wonder if there have been lots of complaints from genuine shoppers. I imagine there must be - unless it's just me getting very unlucky.

PM me if you've experienced the same - or if your order was correct. It would be interesting to know if it's just my luck or a failing across the board.
  • Hi, I have been MS for a couple of months now, and I am just sorting out my accounts.
When you have to buy something and get the cost reimbursed, but keep the item, is that counted as an expense or a fee?

    Thanks in advance.
