do they actually watch the footage of you if the company says it has CCTV or do you think they don't bother half the time?

If you give a bad report they try and track you on it so they can rubbish your report

Isn't any company allowing their employees to watch CCTV just to find out who the mystery shopper is breaking the Data Protection Act?

Might need to have a word with Gyp and the fast food joint about that.

You may as well throw into the debate covert recordings both voice and video as these are always done without permission. Not sure where legally one would stand on these?

Are they? I'm sure that the last contract I signed when I was working in retail had something in there about performance and monitoring.

I'm sure when I was video shopping I was told that the employees were all told that they could be mystery shopped/recorded, as BG says, its usually part of the contract

It's in most employees contracts that they can be shopped and recorded. If its not, then there are certain agencies that will tell you to ignore the normal instructions and not record them.

On another note, does anyone know who you make a complaint to at MF? Getting nowhere with the allocator.

Fuel stations Visits! Take a hassle free drive down the highway, charge up your vehicule with fuel and refresh yourself! The idea is that you start as a mystery shopper and then reveal yourslef at the end of the visit showing a letter of authorization. You will evaluate the outlet in terms of customer service and standard operating procedures as mentioned in the guidelines. You will be paid for the visit/report and reimbursed a certain amount of purchases. Visits have to be done as soon as possible! You can visit several stations! Location are: Newcastle upon Tyne, Lincoln, Gloucester, Shipley, Birkenhead, Dalbeattie, Weymouth, Portland, Milton, Leominster, Ledbury, Bangor, Louth, Houghton Regis, Milton Keynes, Whickham, Jarrow, South Shields, Plymouth and many more! Email Francine Milesi: Francine.Milesi@hsbrands.com if you are interested!

This is NOT the place for jobs to be posted, also its a poor fee and reimbursement for the work involved.
