Did you invoice them on time? I know that was held up some payments.
1 job, they asked for the invoice 3x- I sent it twice and the told them, I had already been asked for it on the 3rd time. They are an awful company- never doing work for them again after this! I know I was taking a chance, but they offered a bloody good fee cos they were stuck. No good though, if they never pay me.Minimalist

To be honest, I think they have bitten off more than they can chew with this job, I've worked for them for ages, just the odd job here and there and they have been fine, certainly never had to chase them for payment for other jobs.0 -
Does any one else think GFK seem to be losing a number of their clients?
My board seems to consist of banks, phone shops and the odd stamp shop and the odd local upmarket convenience store. Anything that does go up gets snapped up so not sure if there are more MS in circulation or somebody else has joined me in 'Shire'
I was quite surprised when RA offered me a round of jobs which GFK were doing last year and yes shock horror the rate was pretty reasonable. Sorry - I can't get my head around RA offering work at a reasonable rate for the second time in a week....0 -

Yup, I was called about two allocations of them, they tried to butter me up saying I'd been hand-picked, flattery (and a decent fee) will get them anywhere :-D
If I'm not mistaken the fee is up on what it was last year and the places they need covering makes sense to group them the way they have, I am now fully booked for March after a slow week (on purpose) this week.0 -

Is anyone doing those phone shops? I did one but as it had a credit check I was reluctant to repeat it. I've wondered about picking up another one when I see them hanging around. I've done a few phone shops and they give some options for ones I have never done before.0 -
2 years ago I would have done about 15 to 20 GFK jobs a month. Now I do one every three months. It's pitiful.0

How out of order is it for Gyp to cancel/reject my visit after it was shopped and reported (last Friday), without telling me?
I emailed to find out and they're telling me I visited the wrong site. I know for a fact I didn't, there's only one of the shops on that road, it's on the other side of the road to their records.
To make things worse I did ANOTHER visit for this same site today (before I found out). I would never have done that if they'd bloody told me...
This is the first one (two!) I think I won't be paid for and I didn't even mess up!!0 -

I wont do any more for them at the moment as I am part of the merry band of people who have not been paid for work done in January. One of the assignments was done on the 03 Jan. Apparently they are having 'technical issues' - whatever that means. No doubt I will get paid eventually..0 -

Yeah - the fee is up and agree it make more sense to group them. I had a very good Jan and very poor Feb and March its picking up again.
So many peaks and troughs in this line of work. Seem to be getting more work which don't appear on boards or before it goes on boards so wondering if their is a shift away from FFF.0 -
It wouldn't suprise me. It would make sense for them to allot jobs to shoppers they know are reliable and who won't need editing to produce readable results.
