Based on a quick look through the thread , i see you should not mention how much you are paid for each job .....BUT what is a ball park figure for doing such work ? is it worth your time ?

Also wondering, based on the long list , which ones are the best to sign up with ?

Sign up for some of the more straightforward companies and you will see the fees for yourself. Do you think people would do it if it wasn't worth their time? :)

There's a huge range of incomes, depending on skill, commitment, availability and contacts.

Many people are doing it for free food, reduced shopping, and half-price pizzas. At the other end you have people doing it full-time and earning a good living.

I'm somewhere in between; earning a top-up to a full-time job, but committing to do it properly, on time and according to the brief I am given.

Really need to 'sack' myself from local travel agents jobs. Just completed one where you had to visit three in the local town. Two of the agents I MS in this scenario have worked for other agencies which I mystery shopped and have moved agencies. Would nt mind but one of them I MS was miles away and she turns up in my local town. Have to say she was pretty bad working for the other agency and is no better since she moved. One of them said - I recognise you as booking a holiday before - must have a bloody good memory as not MS her for 18 months. Time to move on..

Surely you would only pick these up, onlyif you wanted to take out a contract with them in the first place and you had a reason? I can't see how you would do multiple visits as they involve taking out a contract. I do note however that they do shift so somebody is doing the jobs.

Exactly! Only really did it to get my best mate the discount on the tariff.
Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?
Get jobs in offices and wake up for the morning commute?

Getting worried about MF, they keep giving me ticket queries for the dopiest things that I dont think they asked for in job notes. Now they say the payments are late by another two weeks !

Does any one else think GFK seem to be losing a number of their clients?

My board seems to consist of banks, phone shops and the odd stamp shop and the odd local upmarket convenience store. Anything that does go up gets snapped up so not sure if there are more MS in circulation or somebody else has joined me in 'Shire'

I was quite surprised when RA offered me a round of jobs which GFK were doing last year and yes shock horror the rate was pretty reasonable. Sorry - I can't get my head around RA offering work at a reasonable rate for the second time in a week....

Interesting this. Are we talking about the chemist OSA? Used to do a round for gfk myself. I saw some chemist "pilots" offered on RA if so but none in this area, although having said that RA then stopped working with Firefox for a few weeks.. is this the one?
More generally - although I have been cutting down MS this year gfk are still my biggest client by 100%, they have had some largish specialist projects and they now have the other audits which are now making up rounds and in fact at a higher fee this Spring. Guess it depends where you are.
TNS is the one that's gone down the most for me.

MF always give stupid Queries. (Even on jobs the proof readers are not supposed to touch).

I have jobs that go direct without proof reader interference, and they still manage to get on those every now an again

    EG: Was the Reception Desk
    a: Clean to high standard
    b: Clean to acceptable standard
    c: Not Clean (Comment)

Answer A: Clean to a High Standard

Proof Reader. Please explain how the reception desk was clean to a high standard!!

As for Payments it is a little strange they have had so many mess ups over the last few payment runs, although they have all come through in the end,.

Payments have been delayed 2 days due to a "technical" error not two weeks.

Those chemists on RA were very targeted, you had to fit in a certain age bracket, have certain conditions and have a regular script.
