I do a regular audit job for ESA which is OK and the supermarket jobs are reasonable but many of their assignments are too little pay for too much work.
As do I, then I saw the uploaded tasks for the next monthly batch had £1 knocked off each an evey one. Since the fee had never changed for the last 3 years, I was expecting it to go up, not down.
This meant my monthly fee would drop by a tenner - and I wasn't prepared to have this imposed upon me without notice or discussion, and I refused to do them unless the fee was restored.
it was - but no apology or explanation.0 -
Good, glad you stuck to your guns. As you say after 3 years it should have gone up not down.
Mine's for retail park so will have to make sure they don't pull the same stunt!0 -
Just wanted to check my understanding on when my first self assessment would be due.
I started mystery shopping in early December (2014) and registered in late January. I think that the 31st Jan deadline for self assessments was for money earned during 13/14 .... so my first tax return will be due in Jan 2016 for money earned in 14/15 or have i completely got it wrong?0 -

You'll get an email telling you when it is due with the key dates.
January is the final deadline before fines start. October is the deadline to submit by paper, rather than online. You can submit anytime after the end of the tax year, so anytime from early April.0 -
Not happy with TNS at the moment. Got told via a very stroppily worded email that I had shopped the wrong scenario and wont be paid. Just checked my notes and shopped the scenario for the notes down loaded.
In their missive you can't call them by phone and have to email them - !!!!!! - clearly providing Customer Service is not in their remit.0 -
Larac, they refused to pay me for an assignment last year as it didn't go according to the brief. The situation was totally out of my control. There is no way I could have changed things so it wasn't my fault. I held on hard and fought tooth and nail and got my payment in the end. They will answer emails so contact them quickly. They like to tell you it's been re shopped by someone else too, to get out of paying. Stick to your guns.0

:-) Had the same email this time last year (gmail keeps EVERYTHING!) I do like the way they keep shoppers informed, not well paid mind.0
