The AA shoe report are certainly grown, the questions seem all over the place. Certainly not worth the fee.0

Looks like Helion have nicked the Horsie Banking Group jobs from TNS.
It now seems absolutely clear that TNS have no clients left. Such a shame.0 -
A thousand apologies if this question has already been asked somewhere but it's a query on registering tax.
I understand the self employed element, it's just when do you have to do it. With most jobs like these, work is as and when it’s available in your area, so if you sign up as an MS and you don't get an assignment for a month + etc...do you still have to register as SE on the day your application as an ME is accepted, or a few days before your very first assignment is due for completion? I'm asking this as if you are in full time employment on PAYE, how would no guaranteed instant work playout, alongside you being taxed and as an employee on HMRCs books.
Hope this makes sense.
Thanks.0 -
Yes the photo thing on GR doesn't work like the other MS cos and you cannot upload the pics easily.0

You need to read the HMRC guidance on self-employment. There is a period of time between starting and having to register, from memory I think it is 60 days, though there is no problem in registering sooner.
The first difference you'll notice is that you'll be expected to submit a self-assessment (S/A)
You then pay your tax in arrears. If you register now, you will be asked to submit a S/A in April 2017, with the final date for submission and payment of the tax (for the year 15-16) being 31/1/18.0 -
I've been having a challenging time with gap trying to get back on the burgers after taking a break. The orientation section for the burgers doesn't show up and they claim to have put me back on the list. This has been ongoing since January lol! Could someone send me a link to the two orientation sections for the burgers from the gap site please, I'll see if that works before contacting them again.0

TBH if GAP have not given you the orientation section this is just there way of saying they don't want you!
Nothing personal they just struggle to deal directly with people unless in their interests.
I am about to part ways with them so you can have my spot gladly:)SCP # 034

I'm starting to think that too. They've sent me about five emails saying they've added the section and that I need to go and complete it. That's why I thought a direct link from someone here might help me out because gap haven't got a clue!0

Has Gap still got the DIY client - the smaller one where you order at a counter? Cannot see any jobs for them.0
