Anyone get fed up with the MS Cos attitude at times. some of the people running it are patronising and rude and treat you like you are stupid. However, some are lovely.
Some MS company staff are miserable and clearly have an attitude. Generally however I find most to be alright.

GfK staff are always lovely, in my opinion.

MF generally are also fine, with the exception of one or two. One in particular has the initials 'PC'. He's a bit of a git.

RA have to be polite and always are - their fees are rubbish so they have to be bubbly and helpful at all times so as to not lose their shoppers

    PiP staff are OK

Some React staff can be quite stern both over the phone and via email, which is understandable I suppose as they can't afford to lose their biggest client, a major supermarket. A bloke with the initials 'TB' is always great, however. He's very polite and friendly at all times.

I've never had to phone Helion up but Mr 'DB' has always been helpful via email

MSL can be VERY moody via email and over the phone. Phew! Some of the staff there I really wouldn't want to argue with.

Retail Maxim, although I don't do many jobs for them, have been fine to me

Does anyone know if a MSC also goes under the name of Cambridge Global for payments? I've received a sum which would reflect mystery shopping rather than my day job but no idea what it's for!
  • About six months ago I did a job which required a credit check I was assured that this credit report search would be removed; however three emails later I've got nowhere. They ask me the details and then start ignoring me, and it's the same with calling they promise to fix it but just fobb me off when I ask for an update. Is there anything I can do? I've exhausted their contacts.

I know it's not a huge deal but I am applying for a mortgage soon and I don't like to me messed around like this.

    Thank you sunny spell!

Miss Tasmanian, which MSC is this for please? I think that information would be very useful for others who undertake assignments that require a credit check. The only reason I have done couple is the assurances that the check would be removed.
  • This is GFK. I was required to take out a mobile contract and they've the cheek to start pestering me to do the same job. I am sure it'd be very embarrassing when the company questions why I cancelled the first contract.
  • I suppose worst case scenario I could threaten to contact the company I did the job for. Saying something along the lines of maybe they'll actually remove the credit mark if you're unable to. But then I'll probably lose GFK.
  • When companies say they will remove your details from their database post-shop, they rarely bother. I doubt its any different with a credit check.

The one I have done is with Tern, they are usually pretty good so hope they were true to their word.
  • Yes I don't like doing jobs where you have to provide personal details. I have done one mortgage application but wouldn't do another financial one.
