Has anyone got a template for a spreadsheet? Even if it just has the headings etc?
Would be very grateful

I have just bought one and am not 100% happy with the sound quality of my recordings.
There is a feint "chugging" noise in the background which sounds a bit like a helicopter in the distance.
I wonder if anyone else has experienced this and how you went about resolving it?
Be prepared to have a lot of issues. These units are constantly causing me problems, and I have lost about £500 in fees over the last 3 months because of sound issues. The con cables on them are awful, and I have gone through about 3 of them in the last 6 months. I also had to send my unit back for fixing. Unfortunately, however, there is no alternative to them.0 -

Sound issues are most likely the camera NOT the DVR unit. Using a bu13 I'm guessing ?
Sack it off and get the older bu180 -

Heard lost of bad reports about the BU13's build quality and sound problems. Can you use a separate mic with them? Might just solve the issue with a £20 mic.0 -
Just been reading the last few pages of this forum.......particularly the comments about AA. Thought I would give my balanced view, which is in no way meant to contradict those negative ones. However, it does seem that a couple of the views seemed to be extremely biased from a couple of the posters who seem to have massive axes to grind (P.S. this isn't an invitation for them to write another 15 paragraphs to justify their gripes - but certainly not denying a right to reply....if you really must!)
I have done AA work for about 4 months, and only the video stuff. The positives I find are that the visits are generally quick and easy, and for the time spent doing the visit the fee's are good. The negatives are that sometimes the briefs could be a bit clearer, and I find they can sometimes take a bit longer than some MSC's to pay.
I did have one visit fail on a technicality, which I had no problem with as if the brief was strictly read then I did not do what I should have done. The email me telling me it had failed was polite, apologetic and explained why it had failed.
I do find some of the comments complaining about the briefs to be a little strange. Given AA work on an application basis, if you don't like the brief then don't apply for the job. Most of the MSC's have to work to particular client requirements, and if the brief says you have to do something then I work on the basis that this is what I will do. If I need some clarification I will ask for it (and have done so a couple of times with AA without problem), and if I don't follow the brief then I don't expect to get paid.0 -
Does anyone have any unbiased constructive views on itincognito and HS Brands International (Service Sleuth) ?0

Not sure why anyone would try and suggest that their views are more balanced than others.
Those looking after their own income stream have as much vested interest and bias towards Amber Arch as those who feel hard done by.0 -

Only done one job for HS Brands, they wanted far too much work for too little pay and the reimbursement was laughable, they still haven't paid and I did it at the start of November.0 -

That'll be a first then, sacked before I do anything.0 -
