And you have the front to call me a bully...
Sorry, think that was my fault. I remember seeing sometone post that they had been allocated some work by AA and they sounded like the visits I had done. I thought it was you, but it must've been someone else. I haven't trawled back to find out.0 -
yes Sunny, puts me right off. Don't mind enquiry shopping trips but that one is not for the faint hearted.
I find the pizza one's give me indigestion and on Valentine's its going to be horrendous so presumably that is why the company do it.
The more I do this, the more I think it is a bit mean or am I too soft?0 -
I think the worst of the fee cutting is over and hopefully as the economy picks up so will the quantity of better quality jobs.
The best advice I can give newer shoppers is not to be scared of picking up the phone and talking to the MSC / allocators. The vast majority are reasonable people.0 -
:-) Thought I'd add a couple of smiles in before you all fall out for good.

I've been mystery shopping for 8 years and learnt lots from this thread in the past. I gave up posting though, as I was tired of the criticism and arguments.
This week, I thought I would post again, as I might be able to add something to other people's experiences. Immediately I'm directly contradicted, incorrectly, by one of the regular posters. I corrected him, which he ignores but when another regular agrees with me, he apologises to them not me. This sort of behaviour puts people off, as they're effectively not allowed to join in.
It's a shame that such a useful thread is dominated like this and other people who are unhappy about it are laughed at. I do think this is like bullying in a virtual staffroom. It's unpleasant, guess I'll be back to ignoring this thread again.0 -
If posts are considered abusive then they should be reported or simply ignored.0

I apologise, I thought, incorrectly as it now appears, that I was responding to you. It certainly wasn't any deliberate attempt by me to ignore you or anyone else.
I was confusing very similar jobs in the same chain for sister companies. I can be wrong sometimes and I'm big enough to admit it when it happens.0 -

I will second that. The squables are spoiling it.0 -
on a more positive note or less positive depending how you look at it, how has everyones weekend been dodging the last minute v-day desperados?
i was in a trendy fashion store yesterday when one very flustered looking young man came charging up to me and the assistant and as i was holding several items he thought I worked there too. He then asked us where he could get a CK crop top...the assistant thinking it was for him directed him to menswear. the look on his face was priceless as he spluttered that it was a bra top. again she said oh menswear, just up the stairs. he looked aghast and finally said "it's no for me, its for ma bird". penny finally dropped and he was pointed in the right direction...has to be the highlight of my weekend :rotfl::rotfl:Survey Queen/Poundland Fanatic:rotfl:0
