Another year, more fees cut (even for the more serious video work) and more work (eg burgers) becoming to much of a PITA to bother with.
Anyone looking in this thread for quick, easy money - well, you can get money but if you want anything that might actually pay some bills, it takes some doing - and more of it every year!0 -
Does anybody know about Gyp/GBW - do you have to complete all the client-specific orientations to see the jobs?
I would not be interested in burgers anyway and I dont have a stop-watch. yet it seems that I have to do an orientation with them first? I have passed one orientation for another client so far. signed up to Gyp two days ago. thanks.0 -

Yep - don't disagree with that comment. I only do 'projects' now as the day to day MS work is not worth doing in comparison to time v fee IMHO. Once the tax man has had his bite of the low fee jobs, you really are left with SWFA.0 -

You do have to complete and pass the orientation to see assignment to see the jobs. If you don't like burgers the only other jobs they have are a large DIY chain, where you have to buy and return various items from a list. The scenario is so ridiculous that you easily get picked out as a MS. The other one they have is the small trade DIY counter branch which to be fair is straight forward but eventually you will be 'sacked' from that due to their shopper rotation policy. GAP treat their MS staff like 'cannon fodder' but seem to get away with it as others come along to replace those that have been sacked. IMHO get what you can out of GAP as they eventually sack everyone in the end.0 -

Can't really disagree with that. I regard pretty much all shopping jobs as "filler" now.Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?

Gap also have petrol and an electronics client.0

You only get visbility of their petrol client if you do burgers. Not seen the electronics one, but I noticed they were talking of bringing on new clients. Need to IMHO as if you don't do burgers, there is not alot else IMHO.0
