Has anybody else had problems with MF no longer displaying the available dates for the sandwich shop visits? It is annoying to have to apply for the assignment (after opening the notes) only to find that the dates don't work for you.0

Well, a couple of weeks ago I completed a mystery shop for lights (living room/dining room) at a local independent store.
Excellent service (they really knew their products).
Fell in love with one of the lights in the range that I was mystery shopping for - £550!
Looks stunning in our lounge!0 -
Probably a little bit short - I've met people who've done car dealerships and given into temptation.
Anyone fancy doing a phone call mystery shop for my other business? No report, just record the call on your phone and send it over to me.Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?
Get jobs in offices and wake up for the morning commute?0 -

Has anybody ever not been paid for a visit? I have revealed myself as a MS this week, and they said they're not going to reimburse my meal
..it was more like a covert shop audit, was required to count the stocks and I was the only customer, so all the staff's attention was on me. upset cos the quality of the meal was not that good.
Then another time, I'm sure they promised to pay more for the visit than they did..and I did not take a screenshot so could not prove it to them.
In addition, there're late payment issues. It looks like you have to keep records of all of your visits and chase some of them for your money. which is important when you spend your own money upfront and wait until they reimburse you. grrr, these are my MS gripes.0 -

I currently use Marketforce but the fees are getting so small now that I am looking elsewhere.
I am based in the North of England (Yorkshire) but travel to London every week for work.
Can anyone recommend a couple of other websites which have higher payments please?
Yep, I'd not recommend Market Force.. I've always spent more on their assignments than the reimbursement fees. It seems they deliberately offer less than their client's menu prices, so it's worth accepting a visit if you're going to this place anyway. so it works more like a discount site than mystery shopping..0 -
Speaking of Market Force has anyone been paid today? Doesn't it usually go in on 30th?0

No, I think it is probably late because of the bank holiday on Monday0 -
MF and React money are showing in the bank for tomorrow - the 31st.0

Peeps, if nobody wants to discuss anything openly here, please feel free to PM me? I'd like to discuss a range of topics, from which assignments to avoid ( I wish I had not accepted this visit..) to the tips on successful mystery shoppping ( which voice recording stick do you use and where would you put it?) and getting paid (did they ever pay you less than promised?). This thread seems only to discuss the implications of MS for the taxman.
I have done 18 visits so far with 5 MS companies, including 2 audio visits, 3 shop audits, a few meals out, and the remainder were covert mystery shop visits with an enquiry only or a cancellation later. Out of these, one was not paid and another one was not fully paid.
I am open to discussion via private messaging without mentioning any client names or fees, if thats the reason most folk dont want to share their experieces here.0
