I don't post very often but just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who has contributed to this thread.
When I started out, I found this was the ONLY place to pick up impartial advice, and there are some real nuggets if you take the time to trawl through some of the older threads.
By way of encouragement to newbies: I know the work can be poorly-paid when you start out but with time, as your skills improve, you will hopefully become eligible for jobs which pay higher fees which make it worthwhile in the long-term.
Happy shopping folks!

It is saying I need to put in my username not my email address. Where on earth is my username? I can't see it on any emails or remittance advice
Cheers
Further to my previous response.....
It would appear that RA are moving to a new platform.

I currently shop for MF and would like to register for another mystery shopping company. I particularly like the food/restaurant visits, high street shops etc. Who should I apply to?0

I've done one before and like you was wary due to the costs invovled. Best bet is phone the coordinator and get any questions asked early. The guys are friendly and want to get a good factual report for their client so will help you ensure you understand what you need to do.
The report itself was split into 4 so if you tackle each section on that basis and treat the flights transfers and hotel as separate assignments its actually quite straightforward. The report took me about 4 hours but that was only due to lots of feedback but even that is very good value for a weeks holiday so best of luck with it.0
