Has react stopped doing the high street clothing chain? I haven't seen them recently and was wondering if I'd just missed them or if they've disappeared.

I too, have not seen them for quite a while. Must admit I hated that 'word video' you had to do at the end and the insistence you spent a certain amount of time in the store. I would only do them in the end, when they enhanced the fee.
  • MF is very quiet at the moment

I didn't receive email from react and then got an email from team member asking why I hadn't responded?

Anyone doing the high street bank visits for BARE? How long are you finding you are having to spend in the branch? They say 20 minutes, I'm wondering if this is realistic.

    Thanks.

It depends how good you are at keeping the staff brief and on the topic you are asking about, they can whitter on for ages if you let them. I'd say 20-30 mins is a good estimate.
  • Gorilla tape is the only one - for sticking your camera to your chest. I have to do that or it shoots too high

I only picked up a DIY job today as needed tape. But they've stopped selling gorilla so bought Duck - thinking premium brand - surely will be ok?

Used a bit straight after to do a 3 min video job. Ok it survived that but already I can feel it coming off and camera feels loose. The tape is really thin and doesn't have much glue

Yeah, gorilla definitely is the only one to use. I find it lasts the whole day. This has only just lasted 1 tiny job

Won't work for a man, but I use my bra to hold the camera in place and don't tape anything to me at all.

I just tried to sign up with TNS but after completing their application test I got an email back saying they are not recruiting shoppers in my area. :(

There a charity shop near me needs shopping, they keep sending emails no increase in fee!
It needs two separate purchases, I hate doing the charity shops, so to go I twice I want paying more

I've been doing MF jobs for a couple of years now & have recently landed a nice week's half-board in 4-star hotel in Spain later this month...having paid out £2k upfront on the credit card I want to make sure that all 4 reports I need to complete are accepted...anybody have tips on this...
I did it a year ago - absolutely brilliant.

MF can be jobsworths when it comes to proofreading (i.e. it's crystal clear what my answer is, and they still ask me.... so I copy and paste what I put originally, and they then accept it!). For low level jobs that really grinds my gears, they can waste so much of my time for the food ones it's just not worth it - I don't know why it always seems to be the same few proof readers!

With my holiday visit there was not a single question. Paid promptly. Probably a different proof reader to the ones that check the low value jobs!!!!!

Oh and just in case I didn't mention it, read the brief.
Very true, I made notes on my phone for each part - e.g. Flight what I need to check, what the response was etc.

    1. They are not available to everyone.
    2. They go quick, very, very quick.
I've never seen one since. BUT my original allocation was there (much to my amazement!) for about 2 weeks until I accepted it! I never accepted it because I didn't have that kind of cash (or c/card limit).

Finally accepted it the night before payday, and the rest is history :)

Would certainly do again if I saw them crop up!

Received an email today from 'Blue Apple' and as I haven't had anything to do with them before, could anyone tell me if they're kosher?

    Dear Shopper

Blue Apple is finally going online!

As you may know, for the last few years we have been sharing a database with Mystery Outsource but very shortly we will no longer have access to this. Over the next few weeks or so, most of our projects will be accessed online using Prophet.

So, we would love you to come and register with us on our new system. You can do that by visiting http://apply.theblueapple.uk

Good to see they are protecting their shoppers.
