If you can complete 5 phone shops including travel, visit and report completion to say the blue and white store in an afternoon good luck to you, especially at a weekend.

Five of those shops in one afternoon - I think I would lose the will to live, especially with the report you end up doing.

Kept out of the their phoneshops for over a year now, as thought the fee did not justify the input in time in the shop and the end report work.

There are a couple Air side mystery shop opportunities - these fee's seem slightly more worthwhile and I can actually pick a couple up next month.

Do MF take people of their lists for various shops? I thought they'd stopped the big German one, but just seen a shop that's obviously been released. If they do, I'm not quite sure what I've done to deserve being booted out.
Thanks, in adance, for any comments.

I think those are competitor shops for another blue supermarket.

I think one of the German supermarkets has booted MF as if you go in there, they prompt you to go on online and fill in a a survey form and go into a draw for £100. Not seen it for ages on MF.

You are correct, I have done a slapper and a blue and white store with the same brief.

Anyone shocked they don't shop the other German Cheapie any more? What could they learn from that questionnaire?

But MF do have criteria they set such as age, sex and socio economic grouping they can add to a job meaning you may see something that others don't and vice versa.

The company that runs the customer survey is part of MF worldwide ;-)

I had similar thoughts TBH when I saw the questionaire. Similar to their local convenience stores they nicked from RM - not sure what the end client gains from that report either.
  • I was in there recently. There seemed to be a visit going on - 4 regional manager types standing around looking at shelves and talking. They seemed oblivious to the fact they were blocking the whole aisle and didn't seem to notice that customers were inconvenienced.

That's the thing. A report is only as good as the action you take from it.

I could video that place and, most shops, you'd see allsorts of funny stuff going on. But if management don't care - then what's the point?
