I'm using tepilo.
I don't think I would again.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I put mine on with Purplebricks. So far so good! I instructed last week and it went live yesterday. I had a viewing booked yesterday for today, a second viewing for tomorrow and an offer this evening which my local Purplebricks expert phoned me at 8.30pm to discuss. He's always answered any emails extremely promptly!
I would recommend them at this point in the process- seem very efficient indeed. And £2k cheaper than the local estate agents wanted!0 -
I am selling in the next few months and plan to use online agent. I am planning on putting together a buyers pack and handout to give viewers about schools and local information as well as basics about the house with detailed room measurements what is staying council tax cost utility bills available Internet etc0

I am still researching but e.g Tepilo offer to do the memorandum of sale, no mention on HN, just that AM will offer help and support and something called sales progression. Will chat with them tomorrow as leaning towards HN but these are things I want to know.
PS I was considering the commission package with my own conveyancer?0 -
when I was researching, I considered:
the price: online AE are all slightly different, showing or not VAT on their website. I ended up paying small fee to start, and the rest due on completion.
How long is the contract? They could market for 6 or 12 months.
how long you are tied with them: if payment not upfront, can vary from 4 to 12 weeks. Notice period requested?
If they are really awful (no reason why) how long before you can market with someone else?
What do you need? I already had an EPC, did not bother with "for sale" sign, but do check additional extras. (some clearly state that you have to buy your own wooden pole for the sign. It might be cheap, but not always easy for everybody to bring that from the local diy store)
The quote for their conveyancer was only slightly cheaper than the quotes from my local sollicitors, so I thought things would be easier with someone local, where I could pop in to sign something if needed.
I didn't chose either, but Tepilo put my off only because they use the name "Sarah Beeny" in every sentence. I have nothing against her, but I am trying to sell my house, not her tv program.
I did call all of my shortlist, asking to clarify details, which they did, but worth doing.0 -

That's what I was looking at the commission package/ Split fee with HN and Tepilo respectively - both quote "+ Vat"

Both are 6months

Did not want this extra but both charge extra for the options I am comparing.

Using my own for a more personalise approach rather than a bulk buying cheaper conveyancer.

Lol, I also feel that her reputation is on the line and I take some comfort from that, tbh

I checked their after hours facility, and got send an email from Tepilo and someone who couldn't clarify my queries from HN online chat facility tonight. To be fair, I am not registered with either and hopefully, that means the real support is being given to their vendors - which is fine. I will be checking though.
Thanks for that!0 -
For me, the negotiation with the buyer and the after sale progression is bit where traditional estate agents come into their own. Connells provided us with a Sales Progressor who spoke to everyone in the chain, getting regular updates trying to push everything forward. The fee I paid was worth it just for her!0

You answered a great deal of what I was just about to post, the only additional information I could add was that the £800 Tepilo package, came with all the extras including a for sale board.
You can plumb for the cheaper £500 package and pay £99 for a for sale board, but for the extra £100, you get a floorplan and a premium slot on rightmove.
This also covers "discount conveyancing" which confused me, as the price (to add it to the basic package) is £99, but the description states it starts from £299 + VAT.
I have passed on a question to their email and hopefully will get clarification.0 -

Both HN and Tepilo offer sales progression as standard with their packages too so not an issue- except the basic (HN) where you do not get an account manager as its inccluded in Sales Progress which costs an extra £295:eek: .

Okay here's a good to know.
Tepilo also advertises their properties on Prime location. I sent an email to ask why it is not mentioned on their fee options page along with RM and Zoopla. It is after all a big site to omit!
I had an online chat just now and the reply is
"Yes the property is advertised on Prime Location."
Why not mentioned?
"Because you are actually paying for the service of Rightmove and Zoopla which we pay for
Prime Location is advertised on our website
Not sure I understand. So as PL advertise on your website, there is no fee from you to them and thus not included as a cost in the fess?
" That is correct,
Rightmove and Zoopla are more common searches"0
