I'd also recommend the EE 6GB for £15. I used a couple of these with a 4G mifi device when I moved house and had to wait a few weeks for broadband. Just throw it away and buy a new one when it's run out - it's cheaper to buy another SIM than to top up (or it was, anyway).

As for the OP, you could try out Mobile Broadband, with 1GB of Data allowance, for just £15, by buying a Vodafone Dongle from Tesco.

If you find it's what you want, just keep topping it up.

If it doesn't meet your needs/expectations, it's only cost you £15 to find out.

This sounds like the best idea. I will only need it short-term as, when I move, it is likely to take a few days to get my new broadband installed, and I need something temporary in the meantime. The Vodafone signal is strong in the area I am moving to.

I have one of those too, but I paid between £12 and £17 for mine. Can't remember the exact figure. Perhaps with cashback at the time.

Personally i thought it was an error as how can 1 with data on be cheaper than a sole unit, but the price was confirmed by live chat.

I know i had a issue at the beginning where it would would only pick up 2G signal. contact one of their Gurus, who could not understand this as we are in a 3G area, but told us if if does not pick up 3G take it to an o2 shop and they will check and replace it, but the would add any extra 1Gb of data as the 30 day starts as soon as sim activated and as we could not use it.
Strange 10 mins after chat finished it started to pick up 3G signal.
