The last sim cost me £20 for 3G.

    That's a bit pricey.

You can top up a sim, using a voucher, for £15 for 3GB.

Hallelujah! Someone offering positive constructive advice.

That is a good price Bob. Where do I get them from? My current sim will run out in a week or so.

Unfortunately, once again, you are showing an extraordinary ability to make a hash of it. I'm sure that you are not going to stop of your own accord.

BedsitBob is referring to a top up of a Three data SIM that lasts for one month.
The SIM pack for £20 to which you are referring, lasts up to three months.

Better value for you, signal permitting, would be the EE 6GB data SIM for for £15, lasting up to three months.

Just buy a voucher and top up your existing sim/Dongle.

However, I may have misunderstood your needs.

NiftyDigits is correct, in that the top-up only lasts for a month, so, if you are a light user, it might not be economical for you, as you may have some data left, when the month runs out.

For me it works, as I tend to use up the 3GB around the end of the month.

As for the OP, you could try out Mobile Broadband, with 1GB of Data allowance, for just £15, by buying a Vodafone Dongle from Tesco.

If you find it's what you want, just keep topping it up.

If it doesn't meet your needs/expectations, it's only cost you £15 to find out.

Signal permitting, the EE 6GB SIM looks better value for you, at half the cost.

Poor value. You can buy a MiFi with 2GB of data for less than £20. An unlocked MiFi is more useful.
