What network does TalkTalk use for mobiles ?
They are offering a half price SIM deal at the moment (from £3.75 per month)

What's the downside against using TT on a monthly contract ?
I assume that you will get Vodafone benefits without the cost ?

I am on TT I think the only down side if the lack of network services such as last number caller alert text (if that really bothers you), oh and lack of 4G


For me its the same coverage (good or bad), same voicemail (free on TT), but about 75% cheaper, my equivalent voda tariff would be £15 per month compared to my £3.75 per month.

The nearest 4G signal to me is 40 + miles away - so that's no problem and I am already a TT customer - this appears ideal....(and cheap)
