Fiat £1000 off - HURRY LIMITED TO First 300!!

Looking for a new car...perhaps a Fiat Grande Punto?

Fiat are offering £1000 off a brand new car...you just print a voucher/coupon and take it to your local Fiat dealership.

Sadly it's limited to just 300 so you'll have to be quick! Still any money off a new car can't be bad can it?

Seems like a good deal provided you want a Fiat car!!

£1000 OFF A BRAND NEW CAR AINT THAT GOOD A DEAL REALLY; IF YOU GO TO ANY CAR DEALER TOWARDS THE END OF THE MONTH YOU COULD EASILY HAGGLE A BETTER DEAL AS SALESMAN ARE DESPERATE TO MEET MONTHLY TARGETS PLUS I WII BET IF I WAS THE 301ST PERSON IN AT FIAT THE WOULDNT TURN ME AWAY
CAR DEALERS EXPECT TO BE HAGGLED AND MARK UP THE PRICES SO THEY CAN THEN KNOCK THEM DOWN SO YOU LOOK LIKE YOUR GETTING A GOOD DEAL
MY ADVICE LOOK AT PARKERS GUIDE WEBSITE,FIND THE CAR YOU WANT AND
WHAT YOU SHOULD BE PAYING THEN GO AROUND AS MANY DEALERS AS YOU CAN LOOKING FOR THE CHEAPEST PRICE MENTIONING YOU Have been quoted cheaper elsewhere .they will ask you how much knock money off what you were actually quoted ,not a lot only maybee £100 pounds then when you are as low as you can go,ask them for some extras like new mats first service free..etc
trust me i have had my fare share of cars over the last 17 years and quickly realised you have to persistant when you haggle and be prepared to walk away
..i am now the expert at haggeling at allmost anything now..and have no shame in doing it.

i know thi is a lot of topic but hey whilst i am on here....lol

nice first post though mate..i am sure someone will make use of the voucher..keep up the bargain hunting

    Cheers stephen25uk.

You are spot on there. I myself have used Parkers and it's highly recommended. If you don't haggle, the chances are you'll pay an overinflated price!!

Considering I got around £3000 off the list price of my new panda I don't think this would have been much help.

It's all very well getting a huge discount off of any Fiat, there is a reason, they are not the best cars in the world, and when you come to sell it, it will be almost worthless.

A grand off of a Punto isn't a great deal, you could probably get aroung 2/3 grand off of one.

  • Any car like a fiat that looses 50% of its value after the first year is bad news!!
better pick one up if you can 1 year old like all the taxi drivers!

Fiats are excellent cars so long as you maintain and service them properly, but they have a terrible reputation which reflects in the price. Never buy a new one - depreciation is heavy in the first year - but that is good news, except for whoever bought it new. And strike a hard bargain for a one year old car - £4k for a Punto, £5k for a Punto Grande, and £6k or so for a Stilo - there's lots to choose from. If you buy one, get it serviced more frequently than the recommended cycle. You'll end up with a really good car for which you'll have paid the best possible price.

Thats what I was thinking. Maybe if you had it serviced every week and employed a taxi you could depend on a FIAT - I've lost count of the amount of horror stores I've heard about them.
