    I changed IE to google.uk but if you go youtube it still shows in greek

    You can access different language and country options at the bottom of any YouTube page with the Language and Country dropdowns

    yes but is it harmful what ever is changing ads to greek? is my laptop and other devices infected? changed homepage in firefox and location but youtube stayed in greek, I use youtube as an example.

    hard to know where you are at the moment as this has gone on so long and the facts seem to change, one minute it's working, next it's not

    But

    1. have you checked for any rogue dns servers in your router config
    2. which devices are now still getting greek adverts/webpages
    3. which browsers are still getting greek webpages/adverts
    4. have you run ccleaner to remove all cookies
    5. firefox stays in greek even if you change language settings at the bottom?

    All devices now, 3 laptops and 2 smartphones, thought they had gone from phones, was wrong.

    Have run ccleaner, youtube on firefox, language is set to English.

    changed chromes homepage to google uk but it still open google greece
