Re router reset. Not sure you did a full reset.
Did you follow link in post 38?
You will need isp login id and password. If you don't have it then maybe give Virgin a call and maybe they can talk you through the reset. Explain to them you are getting problem on multiple devices.0 -

The router did blink and I had the wifi password? The router is my own not virgins. I really didn't want to touch it again it was so stressful, the only way I could get the log in box to pop up was via avast, on the network threat scan. And after I did do the reset the smartphones were ok. Just the laptops now with the problem.0 -

I don't recall ever having an isp id and password, this I my second router and I just connected it.0 -
Do you have a separate Virgin modem device that your router connects to?0

Cant read the instructions on that site as they are in greek.....and that's after changing home page to google.uk.0 -

Googlemap comes up fine, map of the uk, have already done ccleaner and tried a screenshot earlier and MSE wouldn't let me post it, too many letters? or something like that. It doesnt show everything in greek, if you go on the dailymail for example some ads on the top will be in greek not all..
As for the router if that was still the problem surely the smartphones would be affected (again) as they are on wifi.0
