Hmmm I think a lot of people would like that! :p

Actually true!! Had another busy weekend to the stage where last night I thought "be nice to have a sit down at work tomorrow" :rotfl:

Your hair always looks fine to me!! I'm tempted to get some thinning scissors now :p I just know what I'm like for getting a little snip happy.... :o

Hope everyone had a nice weekend!

I did get carried away with the thinning scissors the first time I used them, the sink was full of hair before I knew it! :o

Had a nice weekend here, was out with work at the annual quiz night on Friday and we got dressed up as witches. We were the only team who really went for it! :o One other team were wearing tiny hats/cat ears etc but we were full on outifts, hats, spooky make-up, the works! We looked awesome, everyone was jealous, I'm sure! ;)

I became an auntie again yesterday! BIL's baby boy arrived just before the clocks went back. I've already been puked on by him! :) Looking forward to Zach meeting him (we visited in hospital and he wasn't allowed in to see him), he loves babies so I'm sure he'll be fascinated! :)

I can see that happening with me :rotfl: but I have significantly less hair than you and every mm counts to me atm :o I've become one of "those" people since growing it out, I'll start weeping over the smallest trim ;)

Congrats to your BIL! :) I kept reading the sentence a little squiffy and thought you'd thrown up on the baby - as some kind of preemptive revenge :p

Pregnancy is hitting me weirdly as I'm considering being... grumpy on Halloween  OH is out for the night and after another weekend of painting, I really like the idea of having a night with my feet up and some 80s/90s classics on the telly! Last thing I want to do is keep getting up for the door :o:o Been so busy this year I haven't even put any decorations up like I normally do!

It does seem to be going really quickly! I'm 26 weeks today, but at my midwife appointment last week I was measuring 2 weeks ahead. Starting to feel/look very pregnant! But thankfully I'm not putting weight on anywhere but my bump (and nose.. oddly) so at least I'm not feeling huge all over :o Struggled yesterday as I had a 24 hour sickness bug and couldn't even keep water down until around 6pm :( And on top of that Fox had decided to start practicing his stretches and slapping nerves!

    How's everything your way, Tink??

Okay, erm, hi. I'm a bit sheepish. Been a very bad diary keeper. Feeling so overworked I don't have time for anything. But signed Ben up for 2 days a week in nursery today, as he's reached the age where working from home is laughable, you can't work with a child climbing on the computer! Hopefully this will mean I can get all my work done then and spend the time he's at home enjoying him rather than crowd control.

Expensive month, 2 lots of car insurance due, MOT on my car, need a new handbrake, think I need a new cambelt, there may be other issues show up on the MOT, need a road tax, sounds like enough but I'm sure there's more.

We've cleared quite a bit of debt lately, one credit card gone and two of the three ODs cleared (the £250 one and the £1750 one, the £500 is still at around £500) but I'm finding I'm getting a lot more stressed about money and I don't know why.

NIM liking his new job, I'm not liking his new job. They don't give him his shifts with more than about a week's notice, and they keep changing when he's working over Christmas, overall making it difficult to plan and have a life.

Doing really well on the etsy/ebay mug sales in the run up to Christmas, I think I'm on 4 or 5 orders today. There's a lot more I could be doing in that vein if I had the time.

Okay, been threatening for months, debt totals:
    Fluid Dinah MBNA £6,618.22
    FD OD £402
    Virgin £1,861.10
    NIM MBNA £5,552.06
Total debt as of 17/11/2015: £14,433.38

    Cleared since June:
    Hitachi Finance £800
    Barclaycard £4271
    HSBC OD1 £1750
    HSBC OD2 £250
    Amex £5400
    Cleared 01/06/2015-17/11/2015 £12.471.
    Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81
    Debt September 20th 2022 £2991.68- 96.92% paid off
    Met NIM 23/06/2008

Wondered where you'd been!! Sounds like a good idea to have Ben in nursery a few days a week, and at least that way you don't need to worry about what NIM's shifts will be. You know you can still crack on :) Be good for him too, obviously!!

Well done on the debt clearing too. Was worried when I read the word sheepish that something had gone terribly wrong!!

Have you thought about doing your insurance and road tax monthly? I know there's a little cost on both but at least (and especially on the lead up to Christmas) you wont have all your wages eaten away at.

Had an awesome delivery yesterday of Fox's Tula wrap, the rest of his nappies and a seriously adorable nappy pail liner (it's got SNAILS ON IT) Who have I even become?!! Made an amazon wishlist of the last things we need to get for him and I think the end is near.

Although I am wondering.. what the heck do I need for his "healthcare" kit? Like I know I need nail clippers/scissors (I don't want to bite his tiny hands off) obviously a thermometer.. but what else?! Are there any premade kits that are worth it?

Hello all! Thought I'd come back to pages and pages to catch up on, but no such luck! :p

Had a brilliant holiday, seriously awesome! It was so much better with a toddler in tow than we thought it would be and he loved it. :D For the first time ever on a holiday we weren't ready to come home one bit, although the finances were demanding it! :p Time to start saving up to go back now! The worst bit with Zach was actually the jet lag back at home, he adjusted to the time difference when we were there as he was so excited to fall asleep early on our first night, so dropped off at 8pm their time and slept through until 7am the next day and that was him adjusted! Back home he spent 4 days going to bed for a couple of hours then being wide awake and full of beans until after 1am! Thankfully last night he seemed to remember how awesome bed is and he went to sleep with no issues and stayed there all night!

Major news here though is that my lovely Robyn's Nest mug that I ordered from Dinah last year is missing! I hope it's just gone on its own holiday to someone else's desk briefly and will be back rather than it got dropped and binned without me knowing! *Fingers crossed for mug's safe return*

Cinny, we bought one of those little baby care kits and never used it! We didn't even use the little thermometer that came in it as we got a digital one, and no baby (OK, maybe the ones born with loadsa hair, but they're pretty few and far between!) needs a hairbrush and comb! You're fine with what you've got already. When you realise you need something you can just pop out and get it. :)

Good to see you're still working away at the debt clearance, that's an amazing amount gone since June! Can't even get my head around how you've done that?!

Sending lots of love to Tete and hope she's getting on OK xxxx

Oh and we'll just gloss over my pre- and post-holiday stress that was Zach having chicken pox the week we went away (luckily a dose so mild we didn't even realise it was the pox!), my Dad being hospitalised with pneumonia 2 days before we flew (he's getting better, but still not well at all :() then our washing machine broke the day we got back, on the second of six loads so we had to replace it pretty quickly! At least the third bad thing happened once we were home and it was nothing to ruin our holiday!

Hi Dinah! Nursery for Ben sounds a good idea and will mean you can appreciate the time together even more.

Glad NIM is enjoying the job but i totally understand how hard shift work is as a family especially when its switched round all the time. So frustrating not being able to plan stuff.

Cinny - sounds like you are organised with the healthcare stuff.

Birdie - glad you had a brilliant holiday. I loved the pics and was so impressed by Zach going on that water ride on his own ! Sorry to hear about the bad things going on.

Tete - lots of love if you read this xx

Things are ok with us. Heidi decided to wake hourly instead of her usual 2-3 hours last night so that was fun. Meant to be going for a meal in two weeks and my mum is babuysitting but she won't take a bottle so worried she is going to get upset if she wakes. My mum is good at coping though so I'm sure will be fine. Will only be out max 3 hours.

I'm popping into work on Friday with Heidi and seeing my friend over from Australia so that will be nice.

Hows everyone's Christmas shopping going? I have done most apart from my parents and sister and bil. Trying my hardest nt to buy girls anymore. Been picking up a few bits of food etc as well as am hosting my parents this year.
