It's actually vaccine's against 9 different illnesses, I'm very pro-vax but I do think if I'd known it would be that many at once I'd have requested to spread them over a few weeks not all in one day. 3 1/2 is small anyway, but since she's the exact size of an average 2 1/2 year old it's going to be a larger dose for her to handle than a more regular sized child.

Thanks everyone :) Will check all those places! There's a 80% chance my OH will be going back to Ikea on Sunday though so fingers crossed I remember to remind him to pick some packs up - 80p for a pack of 8 is okay going, right? I feel totally clueless when it comes to buying kid things :o

Hope Grace is better today :) Didn't even think of her being so little compared to the size of kid the dose is for. But she is a majorly tough cookie!

Sorted all of Fox's things in his nursery last night. Weirdest part is having his changing area set up - all these adorable cloth nappies lined up and ready to go. Why is everything so cute! Would link to the ones we have but for some reason MSE keeps !!!!!!!!ing out half of the url :(

That sounds good to me. I find i get a lot of hangers with the stuff i buy for kids so i wouldn't go too overboard buying them.

Had the windscreen on car replaced this morning, thankfully only had to pay excess. Was hit by a stone and cracked.

Will just ask OH to get a few packs then. Admittedly, most of the clothes we've bought ourselves were second hand bundles on eBay, it's only really clothes we've been gifted for him that came with their own fancy hangers :p

Oh man, that reminds me I need to get my chip seen to before winter! OH got a kit to fix his for £10 so we're going to do the same with mine, just keep forgetting to go and buy the ruddy thing :o

Hope everyone has a nice weekend! We've got another one filled with painting and ikea flatpack :o BUT, the light is at the end of the tunnel when it comes to the house jobs that are DIY-able :T

Hope you get some jobs done!

I dropped a couple of bags at the clothing bank today and saw one takes soft toys too so will take some of them next time. Need to make room for storing Christmas presents!

Seeing a friend tomorrow and her little girl for a catch up and hopefully my parents are coming over Sunday which will be nice.

Hangers?!! Erm, don't you just crush all your kid's clothes randomly into the drawer? :o

My plan was to cram Fox's clothes into drawers (I even had a really nice cabinet with many drawers to cram picked out!) but when we got to Ikea we saw this little nursery set that came with a wardrobe over a cabinet, it was too adorable and miniaturised to say no to!

Good going on the clear out, Wendz! :j We have another trip to the tip today (mostly cardboard) but I've sorted a bag of shoes and a bag of books to donate too.

Got the jobs done over the weekend that we wanted to, but then decided the living room walls are too light next to the new sofas so.. there's another job :rotfl: It actually never ends!

Hope everyone had a good weekend :)

Glad you got some stuff done Cinny.

Weekend was nice, caught up with a friend and my parents came up yesterday.

Went in loft and got out 6-9 month clothes as I dint think it will be too long length wise until we are in them. Found the Christmas reindeer outfit so I'm happy :rotfl:.

TBH, about 90% of Z's clothes are just shoved in his drawers, the wardrobe is mainly for new stuff in the next size up and whatever happens to have been hung up to dry on hangers when we can't be bothered to get out the airer! :p

DH is getting waaaay too excited about our holiday and is packed already, he's packed most of Z's stuff and was pestering me to get my suitcase out and start packing so I got it out to take out my dresses-of-shame that I'd hidden in there when I got pregnant (because they're all my 'thin' dresses .i.e. no stretch, fitted waists etc) and thought I'd check to see if any of them still fit and amazingly they all do! I'm actually back to where I was(ish) pre-baby cooking! :j Happy days! I doubt they'll fit after 2 weeks of eating junk though! :p
