So lovely to see you here Tete. I am really impressed with your half marathons. Sorry to hear your Dad and Gran aren't doing too well. glad you are enjoying the new job. You spend so long at work it's important to enjoy it. I feel sorry for the teachers at Poppy's school. Parents seem to constantly be moaning at them.

I am quite liking the ABC idea as well. I am rubbish at thinking of ideas so I won't even try.

Did a carboot sale sat and sold everything cheap as wanted to get rid. We made £50 profit so that wasn't bad and goes in the Christmas fund. The rest is going to charity shops as I need less clutter!

Well done on the car boot Wendz! Every year I say I should do one and every year I put it off as I hate the early Sunday morning start and the haggling over 20p and having to hang around until we're allowed to pack up and go home! :o

Really hoping Zach is feeling better tonight so I can get something productive done! Feel like I've done nothing for ages!

I know I've put it off for years. Luckily the one I found we didn't have to be there till half 8 and escaped half 12.

Hope Zach is feeling better poor thing .
  • Lovely to see you back here Tete. I'm so sorry to hear that your Dad and Gran have been so unwell. I hope you've been taking some time to look after you too. As Dinah says, we are here as sounding board should you need one.

Birdie - sorry to hear Zach isn't well. Hope he is better this evening.

Zig - saw about the biopsy on Facebook. Hope everything is okay x

Cinny - love your ABC idea. You are so witty! How is the bump?

Wendz - hope you and the girls are well. You starting to think about Christmas presents or is it too early ;)

Phew, Z-man is on the mend now and ate actual food yesterday! Whoop! Unfortunately he's passed his lurgy onto me so I feel grotty. :p

I was reading another thread about decluttering (I like to life vicariously through other people who actually do things rather than do it myself! ;)) and they do a game over the course of a month where you clear the number of things as the date, so on day 1, clear out 1 thing. Day 2, 2 things and so on. I like this idea so will attempt to do it in October (at least up to day 27 before I go away!), anyone want to join in? :)

Yep will join you in that one Birdie. I'm also challenging myself to get to my pre-Grace weight by the end of October, which is only 4.4lbs to lose, so roughly one a week. Only doing the one 10k in October, and running is harder to slip in as much now NIM is back at work and he isn't home until 9.15 at night. He leaves at 6.45 in the morning, so a pretty hefty day. Anyone else who runs - do you run on your own in the dark? I'm a bit of a wuss about it. I have that app on my phone that pings NIM if I'm stationary for 5 minutes but I forget to turn it on. I've just read so much about runners being attacked lately I'm a bit hesitant to go out after dark.

Had a productive morning, both my assignments now in for Quidco for the week, will bother him after lunch to find out what else they want me to do/anything I've missed or changes to put in.

Center Parcs on Monday, Grace is so excited about it. Need to dig out our £25 of returning customer vouchers to take with us, irks me I can't use Tesco vouchers at the restaurants, but we just do an online shop to take with us, a bit more ready meal laden than we use at home but I'm not standing and cooking for ages while we're away, and I don't want to have to buy ingredients that end up getting chucked rather than being able to keep them for another day.

Lots of pretty big to dos at the moment. About time for a list. I think this is quite possibly a 'in the next month' type list rather than a today or even this week type list.
    1. Set up ABCD (also run the name past Quidco first)
    2. Retake all photos for Etsy
    3. SEO Etsy titles
    4. Set MrMuseum up on twitter pinterest and instagram
    5. Finish ebook (about 6 hours left until it's finished, just want it done and out there in the ether now!)
    6. Alter all Etsy prices as we currently lose £2.30 when we post internationally
    7. Make up all new mug designs already done, put on Etsy
    8. Clear out attic
    9. Call Tax Credits
    10. Place VR order
    11. Sort out new phone contracts
    12. Catch up on design list
    13. Ahem, work out our total debt.... where it all is would be a good start.
    14. Do designs for new samples.

Took Ben to the docs as he's had the same cough as me for 3 weeks, turns out he also has an ear infection too so lucky man has some antibiotics. Hope they make him feel better as he's been sleeping terribly lately. This now makes Grace, Ben and I all on antibiotics for the same cough now!

And task 1 is complete! Please, please all come and like the new facebook page, posters and stalkers, I can't beg enough, give me a like and invite any family and friends you think might be interested. Going to be doing articles, but mostly posts on flash sales, bargains found etc. Actually don't invite anyone until tomorrow, I want to have something on the page for them to think 'oooh, worth a follow'! Excited, nervous, eek!

Hey everyone! I've been checking in on the thread while I was on holiday, which was probably a terrible idea as the internet wasn't strong enough to let me reply and baby brain has meant I've forgotten most of the things I wanted to say :(

BUT! From what I remember, it's really lovely to see you back Zig :) Always miss you when you're not kicking it around! Massive congrats on being debt free and starting WW :) Once el chupacabra is here and I've stopped BFing, I've told OH I want to start WW/SW. Let me know how you get on with it! Also really sorry to hear about your Mum and OH :( Glad your OH is doing better, and I hope you get a appeal date through soon for your Mum and the stress over it isn't hitting her too hard xx

And a massive update from Tete too :T:T I'm really sorry to hear about your Dad and Grandma, but I agree with what others have said about seeing about getting some help? Your new job sounds absolutely perfect for you :) I'm sure you'll start killing the targets in no time, saw some of the work things you've posted on Insta and they look really supportive and just generally nice! Well done with SW too :)

Exciting news about maybe going all MFW, Tink!! You've always been so focused and driven with money things once you set your mind on a goal. Hoping in a year or so we'll be joining you!

Wish I could take the credit for Dinah's page name, CMD. But it was Star! (well, as long as my mind is working properly :o)

Bump is doing fine!! A lot more movement these last couple days and I'm starting to get so excited/anxious for tomorrow morning. By this time tomorrow I'll be half way through the pregnancy and know if we're having a little baby S or a little baby P.. how has it happened so quickly?! I've been so lucky to have a boring pregnancy so far, but I just wanted to pause time when we were on holiday and let it all soak in for a little longer.

Hope all the little threadies with bugs are feeling better too :)

Scan went well! Everything measured perfectly, if not slightly ahead, and we're expecting a little boy :) Couldn't be happier!! Although I did almost faint before the scan because I needed the toilet so badly :o
