Great news ROTE! What a lovely surprise! :)

Great to see you Zig! Looking forward to hearing what you've been up to!

Hope the appointment is good Cinny. It's just the booking in one, right? They're a bit of an anti-climax, just so you know! ;) I liked the Giggle when we were looking but it was when they were having issues and were recalling them all, we couldn't find any in the shops to try then kind of lost faith so got an Oyster instead, and love it. Such a great pram! :D That said, if we have a girl next I very much want this collection! :happyhear

Zach learnt at around 4/5 months that sleep is aaaaawwwwwweeeessssooooommmmmeeee! :) We were getting a little concerned as some friends had babies who slept through (although I'm not convinced that 12-6 is enough to classify as 'sleeping through'!) from 12 weeks but once it clicked for him, it really clicked! :) Just hope the next (if we're brave/crazy enough for a second) is the same!

I am not happy with BIL now. :( After the whole secret wedding malarkey and the promise to dress up at the 'inevitable' family dinner to celebrate (and DH was actually fully on board and was going to Tux Up!), turns out they just went for dinner with MIL & FIL the other day and don't want a family thing. :( We're starting to wonder what we've done to upset them so?! BIL also took great pleasure in showing off the iwatch he bought with the money he saved by 'not paying for a bunch of people to have dinner and a party' which wound DH up no end!

In money news, the car was in for its MOT yesterday and ouch! The bill is at £450+ and rising! It's the first time we've had to have any work done on it but why so much at once?! :( We were really close to having Florida paid off but now that money is all going on the blinking car bill! We're not toooooo worried about money as we're getting my sharesave money in December to clear down the CC, we had hoped that we wouldn't have to put too much on it but it looks like most of our spends over there will have to go on it now. Hey ho, at least we have that money on the way! :o

I'm only doing it for the bounty pack ;) Downloaded an app called Emma's Diary which, I think, gives you extra freebie bags of things? You can get them from Boots/Argos but I'm going to see if my dinky Boots have them before I start wandering.

I knew exactly what that print was going to be before I clicked, Birdie! I love that one :)This is the one we're leaning towards. I think!! Or Moonwood. I wish they did this pattern on the Giggle 2.

Do you think you will try for a second, Birdie? I've never really pictured myself with more than one kid, keep joking that when this one comes out they can take all the tackle with it :p

How annoying about your BIL! I would say, just all 3 of you turn up at his house 100% suited up, but I don't think he deserves it. I understand not wanting a fuss on the day, but there's no need to be a jerk about it? Can imagine your DH was annoyed by that comment, I'm not even personally into weddings and it bugged me :rotfl:

Sorry about your car too. Yikes! I'm waiting to hear when I can get my car and I'm not looking forward to half of what we'd put to one side for the hybrid just "vanishing" :( At least you have a plan for what's happening with the money, I wouldn't stress it too much :)

    Hope you're well, Tink!

Thats great news ROTE!! Out of interest how long did it take from first complaint to them putting the money in your account? (hope you dont mind me asking!). OH had a package account that was mis-sold to him, but he "cant be bothered with the hassle of complaining".

Birdie - how annoying about your BIL, I agree with Cinny, even if your not big into weddings theres no need to be an idiot and rude about it. I dont blame you for not being impressed!
Rubbish news about your car, ours is due in two weeks before the wedding and we know its going to need work doing so seriously considering taking it off the road for a couple of weeks and sorting it out when we get home. Dont know if I would rather deal with the stress before or after the wedding :rotfl:

Loving all the pushchairs :D we have a cossatto carseat for DS, he picked it himself when he had just turned 2 so obviously it is a car print one. Cant fault it and the back comes off so can be used right up to booster seat age.

Hi Zig! Lovely to see you here again, hope all is well.

That is fantastic news ROTE, you deserve it.

Hope the appointment goes ok Cinny. Always exciting to get things rolling!

Birdie - boo to the car costs, they have a habit of costing money at the wrong times.

Had the longest stretch of sleep from Heidi so far last night, 4 hours. Shame the 4 year old woke up coughing and needing the toilet haha.

Is Poppys last morning at nursery, she has been there over 3 years so will be strange her not going anymore. She has her 'graduation' Friday haha.

We just got this carseat :D It was reduced to £70 a couple of weeks ago so we bought it as we didn't like his previous boring black one (and it didn't recline so if he fell asleep he slumped forward), Mum bought the boring one off us as she wanted one in her car anyway and we ended up with a fun seat, happy smiles all round!

I think we'll try for another baby; we know that it'll be a few years of really hard work but thinking that in the long run it'll be good... right?! It really does change on a daily basis though! :o We had initially decided to try again at the end of the year but I'm not sure. Might just leave it to chance and see what happens! :p

I'd push your OH to go through the hassle, Flower! Even if you do all the paperwork parts and just get him to sign things. My OH is pushing through PPI at the moment and I feel like I'm always being asked to "just nip to the post office" :rotfl: Hope your car is okay!

Got the call that I can pick mine up this afternoon. Can't wait to have it back!! Told OH I'm so glad we went for the car we did as it's a proper family car with it being a 5 door and an estate. Obviously, we picked it thinking of our dog more than a potential child.. but that's not the point :o

That will be weird having Poppy not going after all that time, Wendz. Glad you got a decent stretch of sleep. Can't imagine it's easy but it'll be worth it :)

Love that car seat! I was pointing some out to OH over the weekend. I'm sure I saw one with cup holders?! I'm really confused as to why everything comes with a cupholder? Even the baby swing I like has one! Is it for the babies drink? Is it for my afternoon rum? What does it all mean??

Although I can 100% not recommend the emotion you get when you finally are pregnant after NTNP :rotfl: Really had to force my mind back into how it was when we were actively TTC to help with the shock and fear :o

eta: 10 minutes until home time! I really didn't think an early start through. Going to be basically none stop until 8pm and I'm already tired :o

Birdie - go for it! It is hard work with two but I wouldn't change it for the world. DS had just turned 2 when DD was born and we had to do the dreaded potty training with him while she was a newborn, it was exhausting :rotfl: (but we have started thinking about next one, we must be mad!).

Thanks ladies feeling rather good today. I paid £199 off the highest interest cc so now that's a big fat zero. Paid 1100 off another as that was at standard interest and now the balance of £8000 is at 0% interest. Plus £750 off agros card. This will have the biggest impact on the monthly outgoings.
Flower the letter is on this site. You just put your own details in and as much information as you can remember. It says it should take twelve weeks but it actually took longer as there are so many applying at the moment. They sent the odd letter saying they were dealing with it and I had one telephone interview to answer a few questions. I really would advise you to go for it.

ROTE - You're killing it!! :) Must feel amazing every time you get that little bit more paid off. It might be my already-baby-brain, but did you say you were going to start clearing things and putting them on ebay too? How's that going?

Appointment was uneventful, but I did get free things! As I'm extremely average with no health problems, they've put me down as midwife lead unless any problems come up in the future. I do have to have the glucose test, but it's just because diabetes run on my side of the family (typically just in the men ) as apparently I have a healthy BMI?! Have my next appointment with her in September, but our scan is getting pushed through as urgent as the midwife thinks I'm 10+5, not 9+5 like I thought.

Having a bit of a £££ week. Picked my car up yesterday, so that's £300 gone :( But I'm glad to have it back! We're also having laminate flooring fitted all through downstairs. The guy going it is really cheap and 50% of it is technically free as OH won the pennies last weekend. Be so happy when it's done! Even Ryder's room is getting kitted out for class :)
