You gotta pick whichever feeding is right for you. I have friends who can't believe I find bottle easier, as obviously you'll be getting out of bed, going downstairs, boiling the kettle, sterilising the bottles etc etc up to 6 times a night.
Or.... you could buy the Perfect Prep and you have perfect formula ready in ~1min which is super duper easy! My friend even put hers next to the bed so she didn't have to get up for the night feed!
I fear that our plans for a second baby may be on hold for a while longer as we'll probably struggle to move to a bigger place. One of the other flats in our building (which was £5k more than ours when we bought it) is on the market for £15k less than what they paid, which does not bode well for us!I think it's priced for a quick sale but it's still really low and pretty depressing that we're probably going to be stuck where we are for a while longer and we can't really have another baby here so things will have to stay as they are.
I'll proof read your book Dinah, I haven't got qualifications but I'm a picky reader and pick up on errors in books all the time.Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
I have a perfect prep, I couldn't use it in the night as it woke Grace up but I guess Cinny wouldn't have that issue. Unless Ryder is a light sleeper....
Picky is great, I don't need anyone professional I just need to know it makes sense most of the time and I haven't autocorrected anything to a racial slur.
Do you still have some bonds or something to cash out Birdie? Could they go into the new house fund/paying down your mortgage so you can move? Or not ideal but, rent it out?Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

We've got a share save scheme (about £2.5k worth, not sure how much it's worth in shares though, hopefully somewhere close to £5k?) paying out in December/January but a lot of that will go towards clearing off the CC since we've been so screwed by the big bills we've recently had we're well behind on paying off the holiday, and we were planning on using the rest to pay the bills that come with moving...just not sure what's going to happen now, rental prices for what we'd be after are nearly double our mortgage so we'll have to see if it's even affordable to rent ours out and rent a house. Urgh, I don't like to think about all this stuff as it makes me miserable! As Scarlett O'Hara says, 'Oh, I can't think about this now! I'll go crazy if I do! I'll think about it tomorrow.'Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0

Birdie - if you want any price comparisons for your flat I can have a look for you, I work for an Estate Agents - not touting for business! PM me if you want me to have a gander, no worries if not!
Eeeeee good luck Lara! Don't imagine you will see this before you go but hope you have an incredible time!
And good luck on the 10k Dinah - I will be picking your brain for tips afterwards!
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend, I'm off to a wedding at a castle which I'm hoping will be ever-so-fancy, had my hair cut today for the occasion and impulsively got a side-fringe (is that a technical hair term?) which is now making me a bit cross eyed.Barclaycard [STRIKE]£7,296.35[/STRIKE] £6134.99 - MBNA [STRIKE]£4,182.88[/STRIKE] £3267.08 - O/draft [STRIKE]£569.31[/STRIKE] £413.59 - Capital One [STRIKE]£1477.55[/STRIKE] £1451.44Total debt [STRIKE]£12048.54[/STRIKE] £11267.10 6% paid0 -
Wow number 3 Flower, when are you thinking? I'm still very on the fence about if we want to go for a 3rd or not. In some ways I look at our family right now and think there is an extra piece to the picture just waiting to be filled in, in other ways I'm perfectly content with my two and I worry I wouldn't have enough time for each of them if I have another. A few years to decide though, another one right now is nowhere near on the cards!
I have been quite keen for a while, OH not so keen - he does want another but wanted to wait a bit longer.
Just as I was starting to look at both the children thinking I have everything I need just here and could happily wait another 5+ years, OH suddenly announces he misses having a baby around the house :rotfl:
I think probably within the next couple of years we will have another, I know if we wait until we get to the age where they are both in school we will never have another then because that is when I will want to be getting back to work and doing things for me.Or.... you could buy the Perfect Prep and you have perfect formula ready in ~1min which is super duper easy! My friend even put hers next to the bed so she didn't have to get up for the night feed!
Definitely second this! Best thing ever, I used to take ours upstairs when OH worked nights so I didnt have to go downstairs in the night, how lazy am I :rotfl: when OH was home he was always sent down to get the bottles.Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
Lots to catch up on. Having a rare peaceful moment as ex has taken Poppy out for the afternoon.
Tete - lovely to see you and yay for finishing teaching. Congratulations on the new job as well. A salary cut will be well worth it for some extra time. Sorry to hear your Dad is not doing so well, hope the chemo helps him.
Dinah - Sounds like the yoga stuff is going well. Hope you get the quidco job. Good news about NIM finally getting paid as well. You make me feel lazy, i only hoover max about 2 times a week...
Everything is ok thanks. I have my days of feeling upset. Should have been our second wedding anniversary last weekend which knocked me a bit. He is sticking to his word re girls though so all going well in that sense.0 -

Me too!I have a handheld that comes out when the crumbs are too little to just pick up! In my defence, the hoover is really cumbersome and Zach hates it as it's really loud so I have to hold his hand whilst doing it (which is an improvement from holding him! That's a workout and a half!) so it's not really a job I'm excited to do on a daily basis!
Thanks for the offer Shrimpy, will get in touch.Hope you enjoyed the wedding too
Big hugs for the anniversary Wendz!
My weekend whizzed by far too quickly! It was our city's saint's day on Saturday and there's a big parade every year- well, normally it's big, it was pathetic this year! It was a total washout too as it chucked it down all afternoon, we ended up watching from a cafe window! Went swimming to a local-ish pool yesterday which is a super fun kids pool with water spraying from all directions, and a big (for a local pool at least!) slide and waves, we all love it!
Luckily Zach enjoys getting splashed which is a good sign for when we go to the water parks while we're away!

Thought I posted on Friday to say that backpack is adorable, Birdie! I saw these tshirts over the weekend and thought of you
Although with the Harry Potter revival in Primark atm, you could probably get him something from there instead! Sorry about your weekend washout! We were firmly indoors all weekend decorating, bar Ryder's walks or me rushing out to the icecream van
Any poses for lower back/hips would be perfect, Dinah! My shoulder has kind of worked itself out now, but pregnancy is giving me annoying hip pains already (admittedly, I do get hip pain pre-period so I'm not surprised!) I'm 12+2 now though, according to the midwife. Fully expect it to change again on Friday with the scan
I'm hoping to breastfeed, but I know it's easier said than done. The last two people I know who had kids wanted to breastfeed but couldn't because they either weren't producing enough or found it too uncomfortable. Although I am planning on pumping so OH can have that feeding-bonding time with them too. Plus if any family want to look after them for a while, we won't have to formula feed them (nothing against formula feeding!) My (kinda)SIL told me about the Perfect PrepRyder is a light sleeper but in all fairness, if I ever go downstairs during the night for a drink(/sometimes a snack) I always let him into the garden anyways. So no big deal! He's only a noise-maker when he thinks its walkies
I've asked people to only buy us 3months+ tbf, if they're anything like me they'll be out of newborn clothes before I know it. I did win a 0-3 month bundle on ebay for £5.99, which was about 25 grows. And I told OH when we know what gender it is, we can get one of the bigger bundles for about £15-20 so we aren't spending a lot and won't cry at the loss of £££ when they move up to the next size! (Still convinced it's a boy!)
But we have both names picked out (well, unless they don't suit them!) and I was pretty chilled to wait until they're birthday to know if they're a s/he, but OH wants to know so we will do
That must have been sad for you Wendz, at least you had your two to keep you busy
I'm sure side fringe is the word, Shrimpy! Even with my mushy baby brainI'm sure that really suits you. I miss a good fringe
Can't wait until my hair is properly at my shoulders and I'm getting the chunkiest fringe of my life cut in

Cinny that T shirt is so cute - I love the description! Are you excited for your scan on Friday? A few of my friends/colleagues are pregnant at the moment so lots of littlies on the way
Congrats on the 10k Dinah, brilliant time, were you pleased with it? Meant to say, good luck with the Quidco job!
I am another reluctant hoovererI really want one of the cordless Dysons, SIL has one and says it has changed her life! Definitely not twirly-Martin worthy though. I'm seriously thinking of asking for Argos vouchers for my birthday to put towards it, that how deep my obsession runs right now.
Wedding was fab thanks for asking Birdie, have a case of the Monday blues today though! Sorry your weekend was a washout but the pool sounds like fun!

Awesome t-shirts, shame they only come in age 4 and up! Will have to try to find mini geek t-shirts!
Cinny, I can lend you my heated blanket (or do you have one?!) if you like for soothing your sore hips? I used to get settled in my chair, blankie wrapped around me and chocolate within reach and it was lovely, like sitting in a warm bath without getting wrinkly! Get an exercise ball too and sit on that and use it to do squats and suchlike to strengthen your muscles, 'tis what my physio told me to do.
I want one of those swish Dysons (or similar!) but just cannot justify the £000s for it! Especially as we don't have that many floors to clean!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0
