I hope it is good weather, we signed up to the HHA a couple of months ago and when it's nice we like to go to Newby Hall for 'free' (well, it's already paid for so nothing to pay on the day!) as it's got lovely gardens to explore and a brilliant adventure park. We just take a little picnic and it's a cheap day out. :)

I remember the days of planning my activities around my naps! :p For someone who never really napped before, I got really good at the art of power napping! :)
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

Gosh, I still remember the tiredness, it was just awful. I slept everywhere, even at work at one point.

I have a sleeper, she still loves to sleep for 11 hours minimum. I kept telling her while pregnant that mummy just doesn't function on little sleep and she listened. Or she just likes her routine so much :). I believe In routines, toddler Kavics was on one from day 1.

Fingers crossed you get a sleeper Cinny haha.

I have to say before having DD I would have said the key to having a 'sleeper' is routine routine routine. But now I would say some babies are just bad sleepers no matter what!!

DS was always a good sleeper and still is, some days I have to drag him out of bed. DD on the other hand :( I survived on about 4 hours sleep a night until she was about 14 months old, then she suddenly seemed to realise how nice it is to sleep and goes to bed at 7pm and generally goes through till about 6:30am. It has definitely made me appreciate how nice it is to have a good nights sleep :rotfl:

Birdie - I am considering some more frames from you for dare I say it......Christmas!!

I'm pretty baby led but this one kind of just has to fall into Poppy's routine. I was hoping for a sleeper this time but alas haha. I know it gets better though. I bf both so never had any help with night feeds so at least that isn't a shock to the system being in my own.

Glad things are a bit better Rote .

Newby Hall looks gorgeous, Birdie :) Hope you managed to enjoy the sunshine!

OH keeps mocking me because, to be honest, I've always been extremely good at sleeping. But now it's at the extreme! I can nap for a few hours during the day and still be clock watching from 8:30 until it's an "acceptable time" to go to bed :rotfl:

Can't believe you managed on 4 hours sleep, Flower! That would kill me. Will take Kavic's advice and start telling them now what the plan is ;)

Ditto on the frames for Christmas though :o Already thought it would be nice to get mine and OH's parents frames made up of the scans. And have them as a gift from Fox :o Poor Birdie, her home is going to turn into a one woman sweatshop!!

Hope everyone had a nice weekend. We went to Toys R Us so OH could get a game to play (for while I'm day-sleeping :o) and had a little potter around the baby things. Feel in-pram-love! Has anyone else had the cosatto giggle 2? All the reviews I've read are positive, but I have a friend insisting they break easily? But from what I can gather, they just had a few issues with older models but that's all been sorted since?

Never had one Cinny, I had silvercross for both mine, but I was also under the impression that there were some issues with older models that have now been resolved. I would say if the reviews are good then they most likely have sorted out any issues. Ooh I love looking at prams!! Was my favourite part of being pregnant :rotfl:

  • I have just checked my bank account and to my delight there was an extra £3635. I had applied for a refund on a package account from Barclays and won. Woohoo I can now pay off one cc and pay down another. I am so excited.

Zig!!! Where have you beeeeeen :D And thank you! It's finally sunk in for me, just waiting on my OH now. But how are you? What've you been up to?

That's amazing news, ROTE! :j:j So happy everything's starting to look a little rosier for you. You'll be back on your feet in no time :)

I was hoping that's the case with the pram, Flower :) I had a look at Silvercross too but the pretty patterns on the Cosatto's have really swayed me :A

Had my midwifes appointment today! It's at 11am, so I decided to come into work early so I don't need to worry about coming back here afterwards. Which was a beautiful idea when my alarm wasn't going off at 4:45am :o:o
