Ahhh so much awesomeness! I love those dungarees, they don't have them in 18-24 though, don't want to buy anymore stuff in 12m as it won't last long. My dream is for us all for have matching shoes, me , OH and Z-dogg! OH has dismissed the idea as 'lllllaaaaaaammmmmmeeeeeee'! I still have time to work on him though! ;) We're going from 29th October - 12th November (ish, can't remember exactly!) so there for Hallowe'en then Christmas arrives the week after! :)

Erm, I think your OH has it mixed up about what is/isn't lame? You could always buy "just him" the shoes, and when he wears them on holiday sudden you and Z appear in the same ones ;) Sorry about the dungarees! Think you can kit kids out in disney things super cheap in Primark now anyways? I'm not-so-secretly rooting for a boy, I want all those dinky shirts (in all fairness, probably dress a girl in them too over dresses!)

It's awesome you get two themes while you're there :) When OH was getting sulky about us not being able to go on "fun holidays" anymore I was like "errrr, DISNEY?!" it's the perfect excuse

Primark is great for cheap Disney stuff (and not that I've looked recently, but fairly sure it'll be Minion heaven right now!), but FYI when you start buying alltheclothes, their sizing comes up small, been caught out by that a few times! One of my favourite (sadly now too small) t-shirts was a Primark special, it's navy and covered in Mickey gloves, so cool!

I quite like the sneaky trick of getting us all in the same shoes... would probably get Z the shoes, have him wear them at home a few times so OH can see how awesome they are and get him feeling a little jealous then when we go away BAM shoes for everyone!! Oooh as an alternative we could have these ones instead! :)

Will keep that in mind! I think they'll be kitted out in 100% Primark for cheapness while they're little. Well, I'm hoping it comes out a 10lb stonker like me! I think I know what top you're on about, I'm sure I saw it in my store a few weeks ago? When I may or may not have been wandering through the boys section complaining who it's all "so much cuter" than the girls section we were looking at for our niece :o (although one perk of a girl would be those really cute Disney dolls)

You've lead me down a dangerous road, Birdie :( I really want these!

To mention a bit of money, we opened an easy access saver this morning for the hybrid. £625 in it so far, but I have no idea what kind of savings to aim for?!

As much as possible really! :p A baby costs as much or as little as you want to a certain extent. Take into account how long you want to be on maternity leave and what you'll need to bridge the gap between SMP and what you need. We had about £1600 saved (we're bad savers and this wasn't even saved on purpose, it just built up during maternity leave as we didn't spend as much as normal! :o) and it helped with the shortfall for the 9 months I had off.

You're such a good bargain hunter I'm sure you'll get all the nursery stuff super cheap so no worries there! :)

Congrats as well Kavics!!!! That's such lovely news when do you have to 100% decide?

I'm up for an October meet.. Where? Think train tix will be released in 2 weeks so if we can decide by then..?!

I'm on a credit card ban at the moment, trying to not use it because I way too easily just hand over my card.. Although saying that I already put over £25 on it today :(

Yeeees! Sooner we can get the tickets the more :money::money: we deserve! I'm pretty much fine going wherever everyone else fancies? Everywhere's pretty in Autumn!

And thanks Tink. I'm feeling okay! Just have a little sickness feeling when I first wake up but I'm managing to keep it at bay so it's all good really. Although I was left holding my niece yesterday at a family bbq and had to call out "I know there's supposedly one of these inside of me but I don't actually know what I'm doing??"

I'm hoping we'll be able to be savvy and not go OTT on spending! We're aiming for around 3k in savings which I think will cover it? Keeping wishing us forward to our Christmas break because I'm already planning on spending the space between Christmas and NY sorting out what will be the nursery :o

Did everyone have a nice weekend?!

I'm happy going anywhere too, although not toooooo mad on the idea of spending hours and hours on the train on my own with Z-Dogg, he was hard work when we went down to London and I had DH with me! :o

Don't worry too much about not knowing what to do with babies Cinny; I was pretty useless with my nephew but in my defence, babies grow and change so much and if you don't *know* what to do with them at each stage, it's hard to just pick them up and be awesome with them without someone telling you how they like to be held and entertained etc... :o It's easy when it's your own! I even struggle with my friend's babies who were born within 3 days of Z (well, they're not babies any more! *le sob*) as they're all so different! :p

We had a nice weekend :) Just had a stay at home/in town pottering about type day on Saturday and yesterday we went to a diner/ice cream parlour/awesome play place and ate nice American food and Z ran around and took control of a 'den' for a good hour whilst we had ice cream in the sun. Just so sad to be back at work already (having a hard time getting motivated, or even caring right now following a tough week last week!), I'm very ready for a holiday! Only 16 more weeks to go.... :(

Cinny- a Robyn's Nest frame is an absolute must in any self respecting nursery! :rotfl:

I think my station is on the same line as yours for the south, Birdie? Be more than happy to time the trains/booking so we could sit with each other to help with Z if you want? Even if it's just a short journey! Think we need the decision makers to step in and say something as I know us three are always very "oh, anything's fine" :rotfl:

That's comforting to know, Birdie! OH's Mum and Grandma kept saying I was a natural but it felt VERY UNNATURAL. She was just so tiny and delicate, I hope my genes shine through for a baby chunkier than the hills.

Hope the 16 weeks fly by for you. It's horrible when you're in a funk with work :( The place you went to looked amazing! Can't believe how big Z is getting, he'll be storming Disney World before you know it :)

eta: forgot to say! Already thought of sending you scan photos to get them a frame made, when I actually have photos :p

Cinny, I am used to big babies! When my nephew was born and was 2lb lighter than either of mine I didnt know what to do with him :rotfl: god help me if I have another and he/she turns out to be little. I think I just make big babies though.
