How long til he finishes the training which would formally enable him to do the job he was doing before? Maybe he can try to focus on that? Did he get paid yet? Yes, big congratulations to Wendz, who must be exhausted with 2 gorgeous girls to look after now!

Not got an awful lot to report here... just plodding along! Waiting for payday on Friday and it can't come soon enough as we are down to about £11 between us! I've had a little payrise of sorts as my contract has been changed from 37.5 to 40 hours so my salary has been adjusted which is nice! Not too sure about the working extra hours part though!

Also trying to figure out how to drum up more likes/business on my FB page. Going to have to do a load of networking I guess, I'm not great at the whole social media networking scene! It's frustrating because if my actual friends threw me some likes and shares etc it would help so much but they don't bother, probably because they just don't think?! I keep meaning to make a poster to put up at work and around town etc but I get sidetracked with other things! I really want to get it done in the next week, I feel like it's a job that's just looming over me like a big looming thing.

Birdie, I have just shared your page on my facebook page, hope you dont mind! I thought I had you on my page as well but cant seem to find you. I did go off facebook for a while though and lost a lot of people when I came back on!!
Was hoping that you might be able to do something for OHs 30th birthday next month?

No real tips on the social media / marketing thing but I do really love the frames!! i guess have you invited everyone to like your page? Sometimes people need you to make it super easy for them!! Also why don't you establish a twitter and see if you can use some popular hashtags or something? or maybe a pintrest and pin your own images!!

Are you doing any more craft fairs? Did you know if, even if you didn't generate thousands of sales on the day, any sales followed as a result of handing out business cards or word of mouth?

I'll try to think of some actual good ideas but for now, I'll just keep liking and sharing! Dinah does some selling for her crafty bits I think, perhaps she has some good tips!!

Aww thanks for sharing it Flower, and you Tink! I have invited everyone to like my page, but lots of people haven't accepted the invite, including my workmates no matter how much I ramble on about it! I did Pin some of my own images actually but I think I need to add tags or hashtags or something so they show up in searches? Not sure how that works, only ever used Pinterest for myself rather than thinking about how I find what I'm looking for IYKWIM!

I haven't done any craft fairs this year, I didn't do brilliantly at the ones over Christmas and I didn't actually get any sales off the back of them either so got a bit meh about it all! My friend has offered to display some of the pre-made ones in her cafe so I need to buy more frames since I've only got a couple left then I can send a box round to her, but that's why I want to get my poster sorted too so people know what they're looking at and can get in touch if they want!

Flower, I'd be more than happy to make a frame for your OH! Send me a message on my page with the photo/s you'd like and I can get to work. That's the bit I love, making the frames and sending them out to be displayed. I don't like the whole begging for custom bit!

Oh and Flower, how are wedding plans going? Have you got a date?

Still in Ireland. Not having a great time over here as we're in NIMs mums space and shes not very keen on having us here. Mum has booked us a hotel for Saturday night so at least we get away a bit earlier. She's had both grace and I in tears. His cousin's wedding today so at least there is that to look forward to.

Still no wages.

Oh gosh its been that long since I properly updated you all that yes we have been planning the wedding and actually get married in about 11 weeks!! Probably haven't done things in the order Martin would like, in that we haven't paid off all our debt yet and the wedding could certainly be done a lot cheaper, but we figure we only plan to do it once so lets do what we really want. And does it sound silly that I desperately want to have the same surname as the kids before they start school?

No I'd be the exact same way Flower, but then again I think I'd have been a real pain and told NIM when he marries me me and the kids take his name but until then they're mine! So what are you doing for the wedding?
