Hiya Ladies
Sounds like Spring has sprung and everyone's getting in gear.
NCT sale sounds like a great plan Dinah, shame the FB selling didn't work out too well. Cool about the yoga teaching
A ((((big hug)))) for you Wendz.
Yay for house tidying and prettying, Cinny!
So glad your lovely frame turned up Birdie
CMD, I'm so impressed with your saving and debt-busting power!
Things ok here, we have just had two weeks of sickness, first norovirus and then fever. I've started calling our place "the plague house". Looking after a sick kid while sick yourself is completely evil. I'm just so happy this week nobody is ill.
Today Robin is having his first half day at the childminder's. I'm feeling 90% awesome and 10% wobbly about it. I'm going to have every other Friday now for work which is great, it's all really piling up and getting to me. There's so much to do before America!

ARGH. Long post and timed out and lost it all. I hate it when that happens.
How did the childminder's go Lara? They tend to take to it quite well at that age. How long until you go to America?
NIM is off today and Monday, today was supposed to be our family day out however Ben has a rough cough and I have ear ache, so think we might move it to Monday. He'll take Grace out though so she's not bored and I'll do debt busting/housework. Big motivator for me to clear the debt is that he gets lots of days out with Grace while I stay home and do ebay, want to stomp my foot and scream 'its not fair!'. We have plenty of free places he can take her though, the soft play, the farm, Beamish, rejoining National Trust today too as I let it lapse over winter but we go a lot as a family and I'm off with the kids and mum and dad tomorrow for mother's day. NIM is working and brother's not coming down for the day so we're just having a normal weekend day out really.
Today's to dos':- Rejoin National Trust
- Buy bunch of flowers and a card for mum (already have a present)
- Get Grace to make a picture/card for mum
- Get 'to do' tabs down from 85 to under 20
- Sort last 2 boxes of baby clothes I found (sure there are more in there but these are what I've found so far)
- Beat the paperwork basket
- Make a to do/shopping list for Grace's party
- Pay Amex bill
- Check bank accounts
- Do buzzagent surveys
- Fix printer
Have a very rare night out with a friend tonight, no children, while NIM stays home and babysits. Do this about 3 or 4 times a year so very excited! Only going for a cheap dinner in somewhere we're both driving to, so won't cost the earth and won't be out late but will be lovely to talk to someone without the constant 'oh he spit up' 'do you need to go to the toilet' 'eat it but dont mess it all over the table' 'do you need a new nappy' 'did you spill your drink, do you need a new tshirt' 'don't run out the doors while I'm feeding Ben' type of every 20 second interruptions that I'm used to.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Sounds like you had a busy weekend, Dinah! Still loving all this fresh energy towards debt clearing
How's Ben doing today? Hope the cough's gone away for him. Poor guy!
Must be awful having to look after a poorly LO when you're not great yourself, Lara! Glad everyone's better now. When is the move to America? So excited for you!
Hope you managed to get some time to yourself, or at least breakfast in bed before running around all day BirdieI took my Mum and Sister to the cinema to see The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. And topped it off with a trip to Poundland as, to keep it classy, that's my Mum's favourite :rotfl: If anyone wonders where I get it from!
Although, on Lara's Spring comment, if anyone's due to give their oven a clean I got Poundland's version of Oven Pride on Friday and I swear it's better than the branded product! Because I'm super sad and live far away from a branch, actually got another 2 boxes while I was in yesterday:o

Morning all! I'm flipping knackered today, Zach was beside himself at 4am for some reason so I brought him into bed with us where he dozed in between pulling on my ear and playing with my hair which means I've been awake since then as that wasn't very restful! With having such a sleepy baby (usually between 12 and 14 hours sleep a night!) I'm not used to these early starts any more!
Had a good time on Saturday dressed up as Bond and Vesper, there was a roulette table and blackjack at this party, I won the most money on the roulette and OH won the most at the blackjack table! Wish it was real money we were playing with!
Big news of the weekend is that Zach walked for the first time! :T We were both there to see it too which is great. Took him to get his first shoes yesterday, so cute!
Glad you're feeling better now Lara, it's awful not being able to just wallow in your own misery when you're feeling rough!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Looks like you did well Dinah. Hope you enjoyed your evening out! Is so nice to have non interrupted conversation!
Ohh Cinny may have to try that although I want OH to clean oven as I am a bit wary being pregnant of the fumes. I do love oven pride.
Hope Zach is back to himself soon Birdie. I think it is worse when they are good sleepers and go to being bad. Poppy still rarely sleeps all night although nowadays she normally just wakes for a wee or some water and goes back to sleep. So exciting about him walking too! So cute watching them toddle around.0 -
Ah I bought some Oven pride on Saturday! Haven't seen the Poundland one in our shop, I go in at least once a week, its a running joke at work how much I love Poundland

Bet Zach is the cutest little thing bumbling about now he's fully mobile
And it's awesome you were both there to see it and didn't miss out on a first
Can't imagine how adorably small his shoes will be!
And the fake oven pride is in a bright pink box, Shrimpy. I hadn't seen it before Friday, but when I went into a different branch on Sunday all I could see was an endless sea of pink boxes in the household section! Makes me wonder if it's new? Ditto the Poundland-love-jokes on my endActually cannot pass one without popping in!

Cinny - his shoes are really cute but he's got Hobbit feet so in comparison to his teeny girlfriend, who had to get the smallest shoes in the shop, they're not quite so tiny and cute!
I have managed to wake up with another throat infectionI just got rid of the last one a couple of weeks ago! Hate being run down and feeling like I'm going to choke on my uvula! Boo, wish I could have ice cream for breakfast!
