I did mine for the wife and myself today, by Post! I normally prefer to do stuff online but after reading all the hassle some have had I decided to use the tried and trusted method albeit slower.

Lol after saying that they will probably get lost in the post!

Thanks Kittie, if you log in to your account can you see the bonds there yet?
Some people have been saying they could see them in their account not long after they bought despite not even receiving the form to sign.

no 2010, they are not on the ns&i account yet. I would assume that it is a legal must for people to get the key features booklet and to actually sign the form

ah, look down the page to the grey column in a black box
    http://www.nsandi.com/files/published_files/asset/pdf/65-guaranteed-growth-bonds-brochure.pdf

It says that they MAY send a confirmation form to be signed and maybe will ask for more documentation from some. We only had the form, perhaps they will be checking against the signatures on file

Not for me, I was previously registered with NSANDI having index linked bonds, but have never signed anything. Everything done on line except buying my 3yr bond on the phone, only an email acknowledgement for that.

My Bond is showing on my online account; I pre-registered and the only other product I hold is 3 Premium Bonds from 1957! (which I had completely forgotten about). Worth saying that I open bank accounts online and am never asked for any additional ID posted or branch visits etc. I must have an honest face :D

I have a pending £10,000.00 in my bank from early on 16th. Not had email or any idea from previous calls to NS&I as to whether I had a bond or not.
Rang NS&I again today. The person there said they had had an email saying all pending payments would be processed and we would received a letter.
I asked if we would receive an email and she said no as email addresses were lost when the system crashed.
So we can just wait and hope.

The pending payment went out of my bank sometime yesterday so it's fingers crossed that I receive the paperwork in the post.

Yesterday the wife and I both received a form to sign to accept the T&Cs and return which we duly did. Today we've both received another form, this time just to confirm what other accounts we have with NSandI.

Why are they asking us what our other investments are? Surely they know? For the record, neither of us have any other investments with them. Again we're being asked to sign to accept the T&Cs.

EDIT: perhaps the first applies to the 1-year bond and the second to the 3-year one. The 3-year application crashed after the "verified by Visa" stage. So if this second letter is for this, then it's the only communication we've had that this was successful. Would be nice if their systems could actually state on the letter what investment it related to. Of course we can't fill in the details on the second letter of other investments until the first bond has been set up, and I have my NSandI user name!

Application blank screened so don't know where I am except for the fact my pending payment left my bank today. I also telephoned NS&I yesterday on the 0500 number. I got through only to be confronted by a message stating their lines were very busy (as if we didn't know), referred me to their website and told me to try again later.

My application crashed at the time of payment, the money was taken from my bank and today I received a reference number from NS&I enabling me to logon to my account. It seems the system worked despite the fact my application blank screened. Others in the same boat take heart.
