Been trying to sort my tariff out for 2 weeks now, been promised 3 times (even from their twitter account) a call back... Nothing.. The whole web site thing is such a mess I'm next to giving up an going else where.
  • Applied to join via their website (not thro Cheap Energy Club) on 9 March and still waiting for the welcome letter. Can't get through on the phone. Did get a reply a week or so ago to an email saying basically that they are overwhelmed and I need to be patient and suggesting if I didn't hear anything in a week to ring. So, I tried !!

I'm in the same boat. Switched via MSE Energy Club on 19th March. Haven't had any contact at all from Co-op. The only reason I know anything is happening is I had letter from Ovo mid-April saying they'd received a request to switch. Goodness knows if it will ever happen.

I applied to switch from Scottish Power to Co-OP Energy via Cheap Energy Club on 11/1/15. Switch still not finalised and couldn't get in touch with them via e mail, phone or online.
Sent an email to the Chief Executive of Co OP Energy on Sunday and lo and behold received a telephone call from customer services today saying it will all be finalised in next couple of days and offering me £50 compensation. Just look up his email address and complain.

Just spoke to them. Switch is due to happen on 4th May so good job I phoned! The guy also re-sent me the welcome pack via email which I've now received.
  • Could you share the email address of the Coop Energy CEO please. The one I had for the Coop CEO has just bounced! many thanks!
  • Don't worry, think I found it.

My welcome letter arrived yesterday - 7 weeks after I applied. Should switch over in another month. We'll see.

Coop say they've no record of my attempted switch and have promised not to go ahead if they ever find it! Given up. Switching to EDF instead. What a waste of time.
