Unfortunately they are allowed to (and make millions from) giving keeper details to parking companies that are members of a trade assocoiation such as the BPA ir IPC.

James, your appeal has been submitted.

It will take PoPLA several weeks to tell you that you have won. In the meantime, if you receive anything from either PoPLA or Nighthawk I strongly advise you to send it to me at the email address you already have, and tell me here that you have done so. I will then tell you whether any action is needed.

However, we don't need to wait weeks: I think we should now write to the housing association that runs the estate, tell them about the circumstances of your disability, and ask them to instruct Nighthawk to drop the charge.

I will come back later today with a draft of what we say to them.

This company is tiny, looks like a one-woman band to me, a Mrs. Cristina Axente.

Nothing to worry about I'd suggest.

Indeed, with assets of under £10,000, it is unlikely that the Company could fund a defence against a well researched claim for disability discrimination. Why not write to Ms Axente Mr B and ask her if she is prepared take the risk.

Good question TD. If James is agreeable I have some ideas for a more aggressive approach but I'm going to leave them until after a polite request for cancellation to the landowner.

If, as James says, it is a public council estate, I wonder why the Council have contracted this out to a PPC, especially a one man band such as P4P. Should they not be using their statutory powers?

James was mistaken, it's a housing association not the council.

Housing Associations often have charitable status, if this is the case, perhaps you would care to write to them pointing out the uncharitable doings of their agent, and, if they try to flannel you, drop a note to the Charity Commissioners. .
