I apologise, I was unaware of his condition.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.
  • I would like to say a personal thank to bazter for his assistance and to everyone here who has supported me so far. I will get this sent later today.

What worries is that I saw another thread saying they have had Debtcollection people after and that they can harass for six years. These evil people needs to put in handcuffs and put in prison for nasty behaviour. not matter what I would not send them one of my turds let alone any money. If I win and then they contact can I get restraining orders against them.

Whilst debt collectors can write scary letters to you for up to six years they cannot actually do anything else. They can't come to your home. They can't send bailifs. They can't take you to court. All they can do is supply you with free bog paper. Some of their bog paper may have things written in BOLD RED TYPE, but it is still bog paper (unless you want to use it as fire lighters instead.)

Ignore anything and everything from debt collectors and just follow Baster's advice. He is a well respected member of this forum and he WILL get this cancelled for you and you DO NOT have anything to worry about.

    Hi James,

Would you like me to do it for you? I have your email address so I can submit it through the PoPLA website on your behalf if you want.

James? How's it going? I'm concerned that if you send this yourself there may be problems. I really think you should let me submit it to PoPLA for you.

OK James. I think it's for the best. I will submit it for you, but I need to know your home address for the appeal form. Could you send it to the email address I gave you before, and let me know here when you have sent it? The appeal form will be sent to PoPLA, the independent appeal service, not to the Nighthawk scum.

I know you don't want to give out your address but the sad fact is that if we don't appeal Nighthawk will use your car's registration number to get your address from the DVLA, so it's obviously better that we appeal now to stop them doing this.

James, you can safely give your home address to Bazster. He will only use it to submit the PoPLA appeal for you. Others here back me up on this.

I agree with Fruitcake, James - POPLA will need your details and I know bazster will look after them very carefully.

Once that POPLA appeal is sent, the winning line is just there, right in front of you.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
