    Thanks
I know it's chopping and changing these tins
Well I hope that's all it is
Do vets have tins he may like for dogs that don't eat well as that could go on insurance lol
The money I'm wasting is criminal and I'm struggling!
Mayb I'm trying to get him to eat too much?
I hate that 1st thing he refuses his Bicky and won't eat anything
He eats a little after woods
I don't want him to go yet

He loves his scrambled eggs but he can't live in them alone lol
  • I guess you could phone your insurance and ask but most exclude dietary foods (unless its something to dissolve kidney stones in cats etc - and even then only for a certain time)

Other decent wets I can think of that are readily available at the supermarkets are: Weebox trays (not the sausage things!) which you can get at Asda, Naturo trays @ Tesco, Delicious Collection @ Sainsburys

All are a complete food and £1 for a 400g tray - but they're often on offer

Will have a think and see if I can come up with anything else
    Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
    2016 Sell: £125/£250
    £1,000 Emergency Fund Challenge #78 £3.96 / £1,000
    Vet Fund: £410.93 / £1,000
Debt free & determined to stay that way!

You could add some rice to the egg and just a little bit of chicken

Regarding the vets tins, I just wondered if what they sell might tempt him as my vet would add it on his ongoing claim for his cancer

Another thought, if I was to feed him(unless he changed his mind again) totally on fresh chicken, and scrambled eggs. How much would I need to try to get in him
He will eat rice but not vast quantities
He would be lacking vits and mins etc though wouldn't he

He will eat food off my plate! And cooked chicken but can't afford that every day

    I'm sure he will ;)

Unless his lack of appetite is down to his illness (is it?).... he's playing you for a mug!

If it's just him being fussy then try feeding him something you know he likes &, if he refuses it, remove it until next feed time.

    No alternatives!

I just presume as he's got cancer it would maybe be making him not hungry if it's getting worse?
He's never in 11 yrs refused a morning biscuit or his kibble, so for him to not eat that or any tinned is not like him
He's not ill enough to go to vets before his normal monthly appointment for his check on his lump
Off course if he goes off at all I will wiz him off. My poor baby

I don't want to make any presumptions but from your previous posts it sounds like his cancer isn't a major problem at the moment, not really affecting him?

Is it possible that your attitude to him has changed since he became ill? You need to have him eat something no matter what & he's seen the chance to get the "good stuff"?

Just asking as I would probably do the same...
