It's horrible when you feel like your OH is jumping down your throat. My OH suffers from mild depression and anxiety and when he is busy at work (which he us at the moment) he is in a foul mood all the time and can be downright nasty.
Hope your OH feels better in himself soon
:grouphug: thanks dh is in a bit better mood today hope your dh cheers up too.LBM 2009 (first attempts started 2007) 2nd LBM 2021 3rd LBM 2025

So my pity party for one is over
Dh paid today but it was bad, worse than I though £100 down on budgeted minimum. Bright side all outgoings are still covered.
Shopping tomorrow, need to do a meal plan and list. I've been slacking on this since starting work full time but need to get into it.
I'm still finding hard to find the energy to do anything after work and need to find a way to boost energy levels other than caffeine which seems to have no effect on me. 3 coffees and an energy drink and I still slept for 2 1/2 hours when I got in yesterday
Mse energy boosters need to be found
Just waiting for the last of the big bills to go out including £100 overpayment to mortgage then will see what's left to save.

Still waiting for bills to go out, I guess this will be Monday now.
Didn't go shopping as didn't do meal plan so will do this tomorrow.
Interview lined up for another job but I'm finding it stressful. Hours and location are ideal though so have to try. Posted on the job section hoping someone can help me answer a question or at least guide me in the right direction.
Have worked out if I get a new role with my company or any of the jobs I've applied for we will lose tax credits and although I will be earning more (after tax £180 extra) we will have around £140 a month less how crazy is that!LBM 2009 (first attempts started 2007) 2nd LBM 2021 3rd LBM 2025

I think January/February are generally grumpy months! My hubby's been in a foul mood too , and to be fair I haven't been all sunshine and light either. Hopefully with spring in the way we can all get out into the fresh air a bit more and improve the old mood

That's so true, I have been grumpy. I think I'm sometimes over sensitive about it as well, dh was never like that before {his illness} in 8 years he barely said a crossed word to me, maybe he's just making up for it now :rotfl:LBM 2009 (first attempts started 2007) 2nd LBM 2021 3rd LBM 2025

NSD today £43 spent on shopping yesterday.
I few pounds spent on birthday cards but all covered by birthday fund :T
Waiting for dh to sort out paperwork from accountant for mortgage.
Been doing some interview prep but not feeling particularly good about it. I seem to forget whatever I've read in seconds, wondering if it would be OK to take in some notes
The excitement of payday has gone and feels ages till my next one. Dhs weekly but not nearly exciting enough at this time of year

Not much to report mse wise. NSD though it nearly wasn't. Was feeling lazy wanted to get a takeaway but eventually hauled my !!! of the couch to cook dinner. I do love a takeaway though
Interviews lined up and lots of prepping done but feeling jittery as I don't interview well but if I'm as prepared as possible hopefully I'm in with a chance. I miss the old interviews of are you 18, when can you start, all questions I can answer :rotfl:
Still trying to get my head round tax credits/ tax in general I must have got my sums wrong somewhere. How can my earnings increase but the incomings reduce? I'm not saying I should receive tax credits but its a bit disheartening that I be significantly (to me) worse off.LBM 2009 (first attempts started 2007) 2nd LBM 2021 3rd LBM 2025

The tax credits thing is a minefield! As soon as hubby and I hit a joint income of near £40k we were no longer eligible for anything except child benefit. I get confused because they base it off the previous year and then have some algorithm for if your income changes. It may be easy for some but I just can't wrap my head around it! Maybe pop a question on the benefits board and someone more in the know will be able to help you out a bit more.
Well done on avoiding the takeaway! It's so hard, especially when you're knackered and the weathers poo.
As for the interviews, what's that phrase? Fake it 'til you make it! I hate interviews too but faking confidence etc seems to help. Try get into the zone and make yourself believe you are the only person for the job. No one else will do it better and you deserve it!! Most of these points will be true but you probably won't believe them yourselfAmigo (49.9%) 24/01: [STRIKE]£2446.21 £2320.17 £1799.01 £1117.12 £775.30 £559.66 £435.21 [/STRIKE] £0

That's exactly what I did in my last interview, I'd completely forgotten and I got the job so must have helped. Will give this a try again, there's more pressure this time for various reasons which is making the whole thing a bit harder. Its a great tip though thanks, I'm sure there was a whole thing about body language, breathing, stance etc on the stuff I read so will have a look again as I wasn't nearly as terrified on the day when I did this
I've estimated dh income is about £5000 down on the previous year bit need to double check this.
Going to do some more prepping, shattered but needs to be done.LBM 2009 (first attempts started 2007) 2nd LBM 2021 3rd LBM 2025

NSD Thursday and Friday :j
Interview over, wasn't amazing but I answered all the questions just waiting to hear now. Keeping everything crossed.
Spent today £34 on birthday presents in sales so all covered.
Mortgage statement arrived and its gone up  even though I've over paid around £1700. Got to phone Monday and find out what on earth they are playing at. It looks like they've added the overpayments to the balance
Shopping tomorrow, need to do a list and meal plan. So tired lately and so cold I've been lazy with cooking, need to sort myself outLBM 2009 (first attempts started 2007) 2nd LBM 2021 3rd LBM 2025
