MSE things today well I've spent today but (there's always one of those
!) I bought some bargain work clothes in the sales. These were desperately needed as I've lost over a stone. Used money from Christmas that I promised mum I'd treat myself with and my interview is coming up so need to look smart.
Spent £28 shopping but will get some more bits tomorrow have a voucher to use if I spend £40 so may go over a bit but didn't spend top up money last week ( we run Fri to Thurs) so still OK.
Also got a decision in principle for a new mortgage which is a first. Dh needs to get a few bits of paperwork sorted out so we will see if it amounts to anything. If we could get on a repayment mortgage it would be fantastic. Won't be counting any chickens yet thoughLBM 2009 (first attempts started 2007) 2nd LBM 2021 3rd LBM 2025

I think my tablet may have had a few too many last night, its was slurring my words :rotfl:
Looking forward to payday soon being paid earlier in December has made the last week or so drag. I am looking forward to paying the bills and shuffling money oh the exciting life I lead :rotfl:
Hoping to have a few pennies for the diy pot as im sick to death of the state of the house. Its getting me down now and need to feel im doing something about it. Trouble is each room needs an extensive amount of work new wiring, pipes need moving, new walls, ceilings and flooring. The kitchen needs everything inluding windows and doorsDh has informed me we will need a new boiler soon also. This house is a money pit but dh wont move so needs must.
On will update debts when payments go out on the 28thLBM 2009 (first attempts started 2007) 2nd LBM 2021 3rd LBM 2025

I will try and find this and take a look thanks
Payday wasn't nearly as exciting as I was hoping for :rotfl: pay was correct so that was a good start :j No idea what dh is going to be paid although I know its not going to be good we'll be lucky if he reaches the minimum I've budgeted forStill I know all the bills will have been paid and we have money for food etc. Just like to watch the savings grow
NSD today and yesterday. I have some poorly little ones nothing serious but they don't normally get sent home so not quite right. Had to leave work early but will make up the time over the next few days so not to lose money. They've started to perk up so will be fine tomorrow I'm sure (crossing fingers now)
Will update debts as 3 have had payments today. Still considering trying to do f+fs but not sure if should wait till I know what's happen with the job situation as the savings will take a big hit if I need to get another jobInterview is next week so fingers crossed it goes OK. Trying to prepare but its not a normal interview and I'm unsure of what to prepare for.

Well done on clearing so much already, that's fantastic!
I absolutely love home renovations and decorating etc so can't wait to hear your plans. Small tip, ALWAYS haggle! I used to work in kitchen sales and there is always room for negotiation. Appliances are a bit of a grey area as there's not a lot, if any, profit in them for a company but always haggle on cabinets, worktops etc and see if you can squeeze any freebies in like storage solutions etc :money:

Today was a no spend day till an hour ago when I realised we had no nappies for little one, so had to send dh for some
Dh came back I asked him a question and he just jumped down my throat. I'm getting sick of not being able to ask a simple question without him thinking there is some underlying accusation to it or like I'm nagging  tbh I feel like everything I say atm is wrong. Dh says its me I'm making out he's an idiot because I asked why medicine was in a prescription bag, thinking had he had to go to chemist to get it, apparently this makes him feel like an idiot?!?!??
He constantly tells me I'm wrong but doesn't see it. If I ask him what's up he'll go into one that I'm spoiling the day againcan't do right for doing wrong.
He's changed since his illness but can't see it, its so hard some days to keep going. I love him dearly but this can sometimes go on for months with his mood like this, it really gets me downjust want to curl up and hide this last week or so has been tough I'm worried about my job and what a new role will entail, if I get it but seems like he couldn't care less. In a couple of weeks/months he'll get back to normal and be almost opposite of how he is now and won't see how much he's been hurting me or even remember it and I will try to forget too.

Sorry to hear that 3wisemen,
It's horrible when you feel like your OH is jumping down your throat. My OH suffers from mild depression and anxiety and when he is busy at work (which he us at the moment) he is in a foul mood all the time and can be downright nasty.
Hope your OH feels better in himself soonTotal (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947
