Hi all
I'm in as much as is possible this week; though not much getting done today as Mr LW is wfh.:o
I'm using an 0pen0ffice document to type this as my brainfog is bad and I'll forget what I want to reply to if I wait til I've read the Fred.:cool:
Many thanks for the posi-vibes everyone; greatly appreciated. :A
Happy Anniversary Mr & Mrs Rubies.:beer:
Hoppy Birdday Mr Kaz2904.:beer:
Mumto5 the cruise we're boked on is to Shetland, Iceland and the Faroe Islands, stopping en route to observe the Solar Total Eclipse, and hopefully the Aurora Borealis.:o
Mumof2 nice to “see” you again; I know about the feeling of “forgotten how to smile”; Level 1's is good; I may be sticking with that level of activity myself this week, after the weekend wobble, but of course I'll be working from my own list.;)
Is it me or is the Forum acting funny? I had trouble getting this wek's thread to load, and now whenever I press the “Thanks” button, an “OK” box comes up requiring me to click on it before I can do anything else. Weird!:think:
Continued recovery vibes for Mr Narc0; there will probably be good and bad days, lets hope there's more of the good ones.:o
Mamaninie unbelievable that the motorist drove off!:mad: Thank the gods the pedestrian wasn't badly hurt; and well done for having the presence of mind to take a photo.
Yesterday evening Mr LW helped me take all the storage boxes off the top of the wardrobe and give it a good dust, so that's a Frog noshed.:A I keep magazines I want to keep up there (things like Pagan Dawn and Wolf Print), plus my candle-making stuff, wool stash, sewing machine, the floor-standing fan which is only used in summer, plus my thigh boots in their box, and a box containing my sun hats. So none of it's rubbish, but it does get dusty.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
dh dismantled dyson to wash filters so I have to irk out how to put it back together before I can do the floor
The Sydon website gives really clear instructions on how to remove and reinstall the filters on all their models.
Computer flying here, though nothing like JulieJim's mega-email-delete!Better is good enough.0 -
Thanks honey bear, I'll have a look.
Hope this week is better for you LW :hug: I seem to have an uncanny knack of being I the wrong place with these sorts of things, first instinct was to dive across the road and check he was ok, being a nurse I feel a bit responsible and can't just walk on by really. But as I had a small person in the buggy with me and he was being helped already, the next best thing was to get him some evidence! By the time I'd crossed the road safely and reached him there were paramedics there anyway.the traffic seems to be getting worse and worse and people more inconsiderate, the road I walk the kids along to school (along with hundreds of other parents) is horrendous for cars mounting the kerb :eek::eek: so most days I have altercations with cars and I'm starting to photo them too. The police aren't interested though
Quick lunchtime update:
wm x 2 done, tdx1
all washing put away in drawers !!!!
Washing baskets/nappy bucket rehomed
Kids drawers tidied
Some minor decluttering
Bag of toys /books brought back from m&d's at Christmas rehomed on shelves
Hallway tidied
Teaching stuff from sat tidied up and put away
Off to school in less than 2 hrs so better crack n with the list!0 -
I couldn't get back on for ages after my post so here's my belated HHC list (which was a HHC x 2.5!):
* cleaned sink
* washed up
* hung up washing
* cleared worktops and washed them down
* wiped down hob
* wiped door white goods doors
* cleaned kitchen window sill
* made 2 x phone calls
* cleaned kitchen table
I'm pleased with that.
LameWolf sorry I don't know what happened on the weekend but hope you're OK honey.
Mamaninie can't believe the motorist drove off - what is wrong with some people?? :mad:
Going to sit down now with my knitting; really enjoying it and feel I've done some good work earlier - one benefit from being ill is I've had it drummed into me that I must take time for myself - so I do now!!Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
Well i did it, another well and truly gone and bit the dust! :j
Sorted through the art trolley that turned into a huge junk pile of rubbish. Literally stuffed and looked like the leaning tower of pisa.
But now all gcse equipment is sorted from sketch pencil to watercolours etc
Its one job i've putting off for ages as the kids come over and destroy which is great as i get to see them laugh and smile
Kitchen i've done as much as i've can, even did a rinse thing which cleans the skank out of the washer drains. So the house is looking strangely clean.
Now having a cuppa as i've exhausted and my screaming at me again.0 -
